I attempted to update! I swear I did!

But I forgot I had set up the parental control on my router, and, well, the update download didn't happen, even though I forced it in the system settings

So... I refrained myself to update

Well, that's life I guess! ^^
But now the possibility is open that exploits get found in games (or the YouTube app *hinthint* [or isn't this one a browser? ]) so no network-usage needed in the future!

The Youtube exploit is almost certainly our patched 5.0.0 exploit.

Depends how much they've updated the Youtube app in comparison to the browser.

If you cannot do a simple thing like that, with OpenDNS or a router feature, I'm afraid that it is not for you.

I got the router/modem combo from my ISP. Can I use a different one? I just don't get that if I put those IPs into the block settings, how come it downloaded system update anyway?

My brand new in box Wii U on 2.1.0 is sleeping peacefully waiting for that source code on the previous page to be put to good use....

Everything until 5.4.0! -> 5.5.0 does NOT work!
5.4.0 still needs a way to execute it though! (e.g. webkit/browser exploit)
