Maybe the plan B is using the net entrypoint to launch. Perhaps the ironfall save hax is just for portability and convenience.

Ironhax will run on the latest firmware so I think it will run on the N3DS but smea has not confirmed this yet!

it works on a N3ds, the video\picture he shows on the twiter is a N3ds...

even if it was not a N3ds, you should download it anyway, its a free game... what is not safe about downloading a free game from the nintendo store?

I played it a little bit. It looks nice. The 3d is nice. The game itself, well, is "just another" shooter. They did well with the limited controls, but I had to change the touch sensitivity. Hard to get out of cover sometimes. I "caught them" doing the same thing Ubisoft did with Watchdogs. Reflections showing something completely different. VA isn't the best, but not quite bad either. Same for animations except the faces.

You can't install a .cai
