Elliot Quest Coming to PS3/4, Vita, Xbox One, and 3DS in 2016
Elliot Quest is a game described by the developer as a spiritual successor to Zelda II, and although it didn't take off from its Steam release, it did experience success when brought to the Wii U.
The game came out on Steam in November 2014, but it wasn't until reaching the Wii U on March 19th this year that the game really hit its stride, both in sales and community involvement. Luis Zuno, the head (and only member) of Anzimus Games, confirmed as much in an interview. The Miiverse involvement has been so positive that the game is actually receiving an update July 30th to add a Miiverse Journal to share and leave notes, as well as 20 Miiverse Stamps to unlock.
Due to this success on the Wii U, PlayEveryWare has decided to port Elliot Quest to the Playstation 3 and 4, Vita, Xbox One, and 3DS, set for release in 2016.
