As of now, RxTools 3.0b works on ninjhax only. If you experience things like stuck in Installation Data Suite or stuck at boot, now you know the reason. We are working to fix this issue as quick as possible, but for now, mset and spider users have to avoid 3.0b. Thanks for you patience

To force install you need to remove the theme folder 0.

rxtools will boot with "Missing theme files" but installation will continue.
After that you can boot on the Emunand directly.

If you put again the theme folder rxtools will freeze if you use R key, or enable menu.

Why does updating the emuNAND with rxtools makes the application no longer work? How do I update to emuNAND 9.8 with no flashcart or cubic ninja. Using the system update feature under emuNAND 4.2 makes breaks rxtools and I'm forced to reformat.

Good news, and bad news. rxTools 3.0b works great through Spider and CN, but the MSET ROP seems to be largely unstable and always freezes. Just hold tight, I'm sure a fix will be out sooner or later, with the 3.0rc at latest I'd assume.

Hello everyone, If anyone care to help me that would be nice, since i just got a 3ds and noob at mods.
So i tried to set up rxtools on my 3ds, followed the steps on how to in the rxtools page, but when i tried to open the app, it's stuck on loading screen.
Is it because i'm lacking some more files?
Copied both rxTools.dat and firmware.bin to the root of 3DS's sd card.
then Copied rxinstaller.nds to the root of my flashcard's SD card.
Installing ver. rxtools v. 2.6
My 3ds Ver is 4.2.0-9U
Do i need to upgrade my version or something?

You're missing the slot0x25keyX.bin, google it

The 3.0b works fine for me, the only issue is that pressing a button after the end of the installation data does nothing, but it works after a reboot.

Oh okay I see. Mset is not really working right now apparently. You can try Apache Thunder's link but I don't know much about it

Oh nvm, you're on 4.2. Did you install the correct .nds from the release.rar using your flashcard?

A button doesn't appear to have an immediate effect after installation prompts you to press it. I press it few times. but only after I hit R does the main menu come up. I'm thinking it goes to auto boot sequence after installation sequence is finished (and after you hit A).

I would recommend they have it switch to a different screen after you press A so you know you have to press R if you want to do anything.
