I tried to use it on my card and it stucks on Loading screen(im a little noob when it comes to frimwares and things like that but i investigated about it)
but it has good compatibility anyway if you like wood kernel buy a r4i wood

yes, you can boot it with a cubic ninja rom but i don´t know how you can know what game you are booting

yes, you can boot it with a cubic ninja rom but i don´t know how you can know what game you are booting

Already bought a Dual Core, never mind, I'll just stick with the stock kernel. Thanks for answering :)

What emuNAND are you using? rxTools?
 
Hi Guys, Im trying to update my emunand (gateway) from 9.2 to 9.5 on new 3ds but I do not know how. I used 3dnus and entered "title id= 9.5.0-23" and "version = USA" but it downloaded a LOT of files. How to I install these? (All cia by the way) is there a tool? How do I know if it downloaded all correct ones?

You can use either BigBlueBox or DevMenu to install them. Drag all of the files onto the root of your SD card and then from either DevMenu or BigBlueBox go to the import menu and select import all. Reboot your N3DS and you should be updated. 3DNUS should have downloaded all of the correct ones for you; so as long as you downloaded the ones matching your system's region, you should be good!

Use Big Blue Menu, you put all those files together and press the import all cia command (I think is L + R + A) after its done just reboot your console and you'll be in 9.5 emunand.

Status = Installing, but I se a lot of the CIAs appear as "Program already exists, Import Cancelled" <== hope its okay :) will update final status soon.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any luck exporting and importing a save file from pokemon x/y cartridge using SDF on 4.2 sysnand with 9.8 emunand.
My goal is so I can use pkhex and then play the edited save file on a 9.8 sysnand 3ds xl. I currently use rxtools 2.6 with sig check disabled
 
Does anyone know why StarFox 64 3D rom doesn't work w/ new 3ds 9.5 emunand? I was able to inject my headers so I would assume rom is in working condition..

So, I think I may have bricked the Emunand of my (sister's) O3DS, would like some confirmation.

I had an Emu 9.8 + Sys 4.2 working on an O3DS with SD card 1, but I needed to transfer a NNID to a N3DS from an O3DS Emu 9.5 backup.
Got all ready on SD card 2, injected the Emu with the NNID I wanted to transfer into it, updated the Sys back into 9.2, linked the NNID in the Sys and proceeded to do the transfer (Sys to Sys, none updated beyond 9.2).
After the transfer, I downgraded the O3DS back to 4.2 and shot the SD card 1 back into it (also took the opportunity to update my rxTools to 2.6) and shit proceeded to go south, as I can't get into the Emu 9.8 again, not via rxTools nor Gateway nor even Cakes. I know the O3DS can still make use of Emunands cause I formatted one into the SD card 2 via the Gateway Launcher, but not even injecting the emunand.bin of the 9.8 one into this newly made one makes it boot.
What's worse is that I (my sister) have quite a few CIA games in it that had quite some time invested upon, so losing them would be a massive nuisance.

Looking a bit around, I've not seen anything that could relate to something like this, so asking up is my last resort right now.
Albeit some self-conjecture says that the transfer did something to the 3DS that made the Emu 9.8 incompatible with it, which is the scenario I'm dreaming of avoiding right now.

Headers are needes to play online, even if you have a not valid header the games should boot and work offline properly unless there is something else wrong, Star Fox is an offline game anyways, no header needed...

Try downloading the rom from another source, don't use the same one.

That's incorrect, you'll be buying yourself a bigger SD card before you'll get into Rxtools. Not unless you want one game and your 4 GB is enough.
That's the only requirement Rxtools has for most users anyways.

So reading your post, your 3DS can still turn on and boot up fine. That right there says that the 3DS is not bricked.
The system transfer did indeed change things, because every 3DS is tied to a soul. You transferred that soul to another 3DS so the old one becomes a blank slate. You not only transferred the NNID, but the whole system's unique soul.
Save data is a huge problem for you right now and I see why you'd want your old emunand back. But creating emunand from scratch and setting up rxtools again would have to be your last option if anything.

I think your 3DS is treating SD card 1 like a complete stranger because it doesn't belong to this 3DS anymore.
A more advanced user can further answer this hopefully. Sorry about your sister's loss. It's always best to backup cia game saves with SaveDataFiler, especially when ALL of your games are cia and you don't use Gateway for .3DS games.
Just trying to give an answer, I feel you on this issue.
 
So basically, the anti-save game restore kicked in for my Pokemon Shuffle save (Title ID 00040000-00141000) and the game asks me to delete the save and start over.

My sysNAND is on 9.8.0-25J and AFAIK I'm not able to run anything(Gateway or otherwise) to run SaveDataFiler.

Is it possible that I upload my save, and have somebody run it through SDF to remove the secure value, and send it back for my system to run?

I would appreciate that someone could help me. Thanks in advance!

(Also, is this the correct thread to ask?)
 
If somebody can help me, I want to use an EUR FE:Awakening CIA save on a USA CIA, but I cant find a tutorial about how to do it, there is already one but it is for retail to CIA. Thanks.
