I am not stuck on anything, i did the whole thing. All I need is to move my 3ds to 9.2 and then install emunand with the rx toools or gateway when it arrives. but i need my system nand on 9.2 which I don't know how to do so I can get pkhex. your tutorial was not completly useless, I got rx tools and fbi lancher, but i need to change my system nand.
If you have FBI installed with RX tools....... Then it will be on the sysnand, which you can use to install sysupdater... And then just flash the 9.2 cia files from 3dsnus and bam you're updated.
Okay, I have personally had time to test using rxTools 2.6 to install FBI over health and safety and used FBI to install sysupdater v03 to my sysnand. I can confirm that it works and again I am running all of this in my sysnand, which means it will update. I personally went back and downgraded to 4.2 OFW for sysnand and had no exploits whatsoever and then installed 9.0.0-20U from 3dsnus 1.9. All I did was install rxTools, then FBI from rxTools and then sysupdater from FBI on sysnand.
RxTools does great with installing everything to the sysnand, however, The native_FIRM isn't bypassed. So if you boot into rxmode for the sysnand you WILL brick your 3ds. I'll try to find another way that will work with no extra games and crap. Sorry about that.
i got a gateway and a ds flashcard, so you can include one of those. also, did you really brick your 3ds while helping me with this? brick as in it broke your 3ds or it updated it?
you can also teach me how to update your 3ds to 9.2 or 9.0 using fbi or with gateway or ds flashcard.
If you have a ds flashcart that'd really help haha, also I'd say don't use GW to update because you will brick.
He could, But i'm making a general way for anyone without the need of anything except a 3ds on FW's 4.x-9.2.
Download the stuff needed for rxTools, in this case at least the launcher file, the firmware.bin, and if you'd like the keyslot but it's not needed. Then just run rxtools without putting the fbi stuff on it first. Go to other options and inject the fbi stuff. It will tell you it failed, but you need to take note of the consoles region and tmd number. Mine was 1026 but yours may be different. Then go back and add the fbi files in the rx folder/h&s/tmd number folder/here. Then also add the files to the root of the sd card just to be sure. Then once you install fbi over the h&s app. Use the web exploit to install the ds profile/mset. Then replace the launcher file with the pasta launcher(from gW to Pasta) finally launch mset and hold both L+R. It'll lag for a minute and then appear to be back at sysnand. It is on sysnand, go to h&s app and fbi will work. Install sysupdater v03 and then install the cia's you got from 3dsnus that will be in the updates folder on the root of the sd card.

Nevermind about that question above. Whenever I go boot into system nand with the exploit, it does not work. but, when i boot into rxmode, it does. should i do it in rx mode? will i get a 3ds brick? I need help
