I don't quite believe I've lost my time, as I've learned a lot, and had fun creating what I did.
Actually, I'm happy to have created competition. This has driven you to finally release your stuff. And I hope we can keep friendly competition between all the CFWs here. This has motivated me to work even harder on my stuff.
Also, we still have some tricks up our sleeves.
I won't give up. Not when I've come so far already.

So, nobody managed to downgrade MSET on 9.2 3DS and make rxtools working with it ?

No for me it doesnt work. i tried to reinstsall the mset downgrade and it tells me that its in the right version.
no rxtool-mset nor gateway works for me

Hmm... Seems like the stuff I had installed through PastaCFW shows up on EmuNAND. FBI is already installed so maybe that's why I couldn't inject it?

Eh.. After the release of cake, i feel completely demotivated tbh, lol.. Theres really nothing original i can add now. So my attention has been directed to working on the new Ohana3DS.

It's not a competition here, you know.
I like reverse engineering, and i also believe that you all are capable of doing all of this on your own, even better.

Also you know, i'm not gealous of anything.
My real anger was on that patched version of rxtools, and the tools to edit it.
I personally like the cakescfw idea,since it came out as something new, i just said that the patches are the same of rxtools.
For what i think, we can also work toghether, i have no nonsense-pride, it would be even more productive.

CakesCFW is the ONLY one that lets you play GBA VC OR sm4sh via menu

I suggest Roxas75 look into this

Palentine works for GBA as well...but you have obvious limitations and headaches to deal with.

How did you generate the fbi.app files?
just to be sure it's legal to share, as they have 3 different version so they probably contains information for different NAND regions. are they built from a safety&warning extracted app?
sorry, I didn't analyze the sources to see how it really works. It's not to warn you, but I like to learn and understand things

you kept my idea of generating the ncch and sd info instead of using python?

and a question:
Would it be possible to access and extract files directly from ExeFS and RomFS of a 3DS ROM/cia?
preventing XorPad to extract RomFS, then tools to extract files from it. if it's possible to browse files directly on the console it would be great. (I don't know if it's useful, but it's just additional features and knowledge for the developers)
