huh but but the top said gateway doesn't work now I'm confused
It does, disregard that. Do as I said and it'll work.

rxTools boots Gateway emunand. You're technically not using it "in tandem with Gateway". You're just using Gateway to install your stuff to Sysnand, that's it.

It does DSiware and GBA though. I'd say if you have this CFW, Gateway has nothing to provide... Besides maybe .3ds file loading. I sold my Gateway today - got my $60 back.

yea thanks. but i think it is better combining gw+pasta instead of gw+rxtools isnt it?

I'd say Gw+rxtools is better because you're using the same emunand as Gateway. No risk of bricking anything, and you won't ever need to take the red card out to use cubic ninja.

Quick question. How I do Link emunand to sysnand? I currently have emunand rxtools installed and Pasta on the sysnand, and whatever I do on sysnand does not carry out to emunand.
Emunand and Sysnand should be automatically linked when you create emunand.

what exactly did u install in sysnand?
A few cia's, GBA VC injections. I know they wont physically work on rxtools (the smash one), but they should at least pop up on the menu

To potentially fix this, could i just dump my NAND and inject it into the emunand partition using emunand tools?

Install the GBA cias on emunand as well. You HAVE to install them again. You don't need to have sysnand and emunand linked, you just need to install your cias on BOTH of them.

Anyone want to write me up a stupid proof guide on how to get BBM/devmenu installed? I already have them since i'm a gateway user...

Edit: Seems this was only an issue with the 2DS. Everything worked fine on my 3DS.

Did you put the slot0x25KeyX.bin file (filled with the 7.X key) in your sd card ?

Then you can just use the same emunand with rxtools, you don't have to reinstall them.
