Running this inside palantine's CFW would be pointless.

Nope. Gateway mode patches out an exploit needed for it to work. 4.x version would work, but you might as well be using PBT CFW at that point.

Doesn't PTB share the same restrictions as palatines cfw? I mean I still couldn't play games which require a higher firmware, right?

Palentine has a seperate NAND used. PBT is strictly sysnand. PastaCFW is a 9.2 version of PBT with a few other stuff.

I'm working on a Guide on how to play Pokemon and Smash, without Gateway. Just using PBT.

Yes, if you're on 8.1 or above. 4.5 is still restricted to those games so if you have 8.1 or above you can use this CFW and play recent games.

i am trying to run the arm9 payload but the console got freezed, what to do ?
(old3ds 9.2 PAL)

Same issue but US 3ds.
It freezes on the 'running arm9 payload' letters and the top screen never changes.

I fail to understand how I could install PBT on 8.1 or above without Cubic Ninja. I didn't follow the scene for a while, I have some reading to do.
