How about...
Load a Cubic Ninja CIA through PBT-CFW and use it to load this? Could that work?
It might sound counter intuitive and redundant, but there could be some benefit to it over using just PBT-CFW... I don't know :P

then the issue, is that you would still be in 4.5 CFW, so you wouldn't gain much from PBT ^^''

Just spoofing it isn't enough. Otherwise we would have been able to get Xenoblade launching awhile ago. If you attempt to use the first Launcher.dat release on the n3ds that GW released you will see Xenoblade does the exact same thing as retail if you try to load it with bypassing the firmware update just sits at the "Nintendo 3DS" on the top screen endlessly

I'm going to install this on my CN card and then boot NTR CFW from this by installing NTR CFW on a CN cia.

Keys ARE already loaded.
I know that, I used them in my 9.0 firmware to decrypt Xenoblade Chronicles.
And Puzzle and Dragons does NOT require any special key.
Gateway simply loads 9.7 FIRM on Old 3DS and 9.5 FIRM on New 3DS whatever is the version installed.

This has been the exact opposite of what has been said on here but I'll trust your word on that.

EDIT : Nevermind.

cfw inside of cfw?
cfwinception?

......WAIT, i just thought of something amazing, can you restore a nand image from ninjhax yet ? if so you can start ninjhax in 4.5 PBT, restore sysnand to 9.2 and then boot sysnand with PBT (as long as the nand flasher homebrew can go back to ninjhax)

GBA games is the only thing I can come up with. That's something at least :)

i might sound crazy, but i clearly remember being able to start a GBA game on PBT CFW from devmenu (i started zelda 4 swords adventure through Devmenu in PBT), so there is no realy advantage ^^''

Edit: it is still true that you can't load GBA games through home menu in PBT, but from devmenu, i'm sure you can start them 100%

Now that we've removed GBA VC signature checks, is there anything to stop us from injecting our own GBA games?

For me personally, this would be the most exciting result.

I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work, giving GBA VC is more of a compatibility mode than actual emulation. Guess we just have to wait for somebody willing to attempt it.

Too bad there will never be a day where CFW can be loaded without the need of a hard-to-find game

wellllll.....there still is this github with a shine of hope for O3DS, but i guess that yifan_lu has no plans to finish it....

(BTW, yifan_lu , would it be too much to ask you for a compiled version of the curent spiderninja ?)

Which, fwiw, is exactly why I find the possibility so exciting! There's always been audio sync issues with games such as Rhythm Heaven and Mother 3 in emulators, for example. It's also great for battery life.

Well that's a kick to the crotch, especially since that, well, as long as there's money to be made, there will never be a free CFW.
