Oh I blame them for the shitty design that is the Wii U, it's no wonder the console sold so badly, the fact I only use my Wii U (hardly) to run Wii U games only, other than that it keeps catching up dust as I enjoy my PS3 or Wii makes me behind on why the console is considered bad, damn it it's almost as bad as the original Xbox 360.
im the oposite of you, i retyred my wii and use wiiu exclusively, everything i do on the wii can be done on vwii so i see no reson to keep the wii around really.

Not when you use real GC controllers and MCs like I do =p
i use real gc controllers trough the wiiugc adapter on wiiu :P and real MC is just pointless i dont want a tumor coming ou of my wii when i can save everything on my usb device along with the game isos anyway i see no point on yet another extra device to carry around.

That link was on the first post for a long time, but users tried to download from it without editing the xxx part and complain it didn't work.
Now that nintendont is hosted on github, there no more revision number you can refer to.
the xxx part need to be a random checksum string
github.com/FIX94/Nintendont/blob/8d3b0b02dc392f36da4d2a74c0f4dc4135f812e4/loader/loader.dol?raw=true

You will now need to go there :
https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont/commits/master/loader/loader.dol
click on the <> icon at the right of the commit you want to download
click on "raw" link to download that dol.
hope it's the version you want...

Don't use Pimp my Wii. Just use ModMii.

Again, if you're ending up at the screen where it asks you to choose USB/SD then the loader is not transferring the config info to Nintendont. Either it is being blocked from doing it in memory (unlikely) or it can't write the file to the drive. Make sure you are using the newest versions of both your USB loader and Nintendont, you are not having other issues with your drive, it's a FAT32 primary partition, and there are no hidden partitions on the drive like virtual CD partitions containing drive utilities, etc.
Getting back to modmii, is it really safe to use it? Nos risks of brick/FU the system?

It's the only way I'll mod a Wii. I've used ModMii on about 8 Wii's now without any problems. Safest way I know of.
Thanx for the reply!
My wii is already softmodded ( 4.3U ), everything okay, running wii backup games from DVD drive, game cube games via USB/SD...
Only a few minor problems with usb loader gx ( won't mount USB ), etc.
I'm afraid of using modmii and lose something, or something stop working. Maybe I should just leave as it is, no need to re-mod it...

Why do you need to re-mod anything if these things are working correctly? And USB Loader is notorious for problems with very specific USB sticks and HDDs that it doesn't like.

Just to fix these minor problems.

Is it just the USB thing? Or are there other problems? If it's just the USB Loader then it's probably not your modding installation that did it, it's probably just USB Loader being finicky, something all of us have dealt with. Remodding your console won't fix USB loader.

Hi, I'm having some issues with Nintendont. I'm playing Melee with a GC controller (Nintendo made) and I noticed there's a very big deadzone, as in I have to really press the stick just to run, and half the time I'm missing U/L/R/D smash attacks. Is this expected?

I'm on 20150505 Nintendon't, on a fully updated Wii U console. The GC pad works fine on an original GC with the original disc. The iso is a 1.4 GB one, not shrunk. Settings were: forced progressive, forced widescreen, WiiU widescreen.

Thanks.

Sorry, I added so much stuff and left that out. I'm using the official Nintendo adapter.
the adapter should work fine no one has any issues with it, if your controller has a huge deadzone then its your controller that isnt transmiting the signal to the adapter itself its not nintendont issues, also make sure your using slot 1 and not slot 4 some ppl start with the later slots lol.

Can someone please explain how to save in both Mario Kart GP's?

Also I am using PAL Timesplitters: Future Perfect but get no option to use progressive? I would rather use a PAL iso as my mem card save is PAL.

Thanks
