Is there a way to restore installed CIA games from latest emuNAND to old emuNAND backup or do I need to reinstall every single CIA games?

I plan to downgrade from my 9.5.0 to 9.0.0 to use homebrew launcher and use 3dsx files. Emunand should have the same unique ID because my current 9.5.0 was derived from the same 9.0.0 backup (upgraded via 3DNUS) and the installed CIA folders are still in my mSD card.

Thanks

Solution:

here's what I did.
1) restoring CIA games (with data still in mSD)
just run the CIA installer again in BBM. BBM will show error that its already installed. on home screen the present box appear =). problem 1 solve.

Extra:

2) using homebrew on n3DS with Gateway Red Card (no Cubic Ninja/ Sky3DS required)
boot into GW sysnand. Load CN .3ds, then boot ninjhax. then u'll have your homebrew launcher (make sure connection is already set up for sysnand). best of both world. get to be on latest supported nand + homebrew support + without needing CN/Sky3ds

If you are using an O3DS, dump ticket.db from your 9.5 emunand and inject it into your 9.0 emunand. Check the rxTools thread for all the info.

I see. so the information is stored in ticket.db. n3DS users would not be able to do this then since rxTools dosent support n3DS. I believe theres no other alternative at the moment for n3DS users?

you can just do it manually if you have a n3ds

manually as in reinstalling all the CIA?
rxtools will not help you 'restore' eshop/cia content stuff.
you will still have to install the cias again.
unless, you have not formatted the 3ds, then you could simply restore the sd card contents but you will still need to inject the ticket.db that you want.

that's what i mentioned above. sd content is still intact. its the ticket.db that I needed to restore according to samiam144 which is currently not possible for the new 3ds as I understand

i said, it is possible on n3ds. you can do it manually.
generate your fat16 xorpad and decrypt your nand, replace the file.

I don't understand xorpads much. What I do understand is that it is required to encrypt and decrypt games/roms.
Would that mean that if I have 12 cia games, I will need to extract 12 different xorpads --> decrypt my nand --> replace the 12 xorpads --> encrypt nand
that sound like a hard work. ^^'

No you only need ticket.db

To extract it, the xorpad is needed because nand dumps are encrypted. XD

okay. so i need xorpad to decrypt and extract ticket.db
xorpad generation on n3DS will require decrypt9
decrypt9 requires ninjhax
ninjhax dosent work with emunand 9.5

so basically im stuck?

/.\ sorry for being a noob. I cant really find the tutorial

do you have cubic ninja or not?
if you do, and can use ninjhax, then you can get your xorpad.
if not, then no.

that was far less complicated. thanks Zap Rowsdower for the suggestion =)
