So I did some things with my emunand recently, and wanted to restore it. I did but not all my installed cia's were there (only eshop and "legit" ones), if I go into data management I can see the cia's that were installed but are now missing and they have a cross through the icon and the field which states the amount of blocks it uses is also grey.

Does anyone know how to get these titles back into to menu (working again)?

that's because the game files still exist in the SD card, but not in NAND's ticket.db
if you have the ticket.db before restore emunand, you can simply inject it and it will work
otherwise you can try to reinstall all cia, I suppose because the game already exists it will only update the ticket.db so it will be faster than usual cia installation

Sorry if I'm on an old post and I shouldn't ask in here but...
I have exactly the same problem, every game on Grey with an X on Data Managment, when I try to reinstall them it says that they are already on the system and then they appear.

How can I extract my previous ticket.db from my old emuNAND and inject it on the New one?

Even though you get the error that they are already installed, it solves the problem because the ticket is installed.

You can do that with either Decrypt9 or rxTools.

load your old emunand using rxtools, you can find option to extract ticket.db there
do the same thing with the new emunand but now select inject ticket.db

The old emunand was on an old3DS and the new emunand on a new3DS, it doesn't matter, right?
I mean, there aren't the same, I think.

I have no idea because I've never try to inject ticket.db from different system though
I'm not even sure if you can use ticket.db from other system or not

I did a System Transfer from emunand to emunand following a guide here on GBATemp and I got everything working except that every game/homebrew installed as a .cia was on Data Manager with an X and they didn't show up on the menu until I reinstalled the .cia again, but every save and theme transfered successfully.

Maybe I should just reinstall everything again like I did with 3 or 4 games, I really don't know if there is an easier wayto see my games again without being Gray.

if I were you, I would do the same :)
just use BBB or anything you like and use batch install to install all cia in a folder, leave it all night and you'll get everything installed in the morning

I have 47GB of cia titles, so there's that :rofl2:
Well, if I don't have any other choice, I will do that.

Btw, if someone read this on the future and has the same problem, when I reinstalled cias with BBB my save of that game was deleted, but with FBI that save was still there, so if you are going to do reinstall everything and you want your old saves, use FBI.

Did you try visiting the eShop? When I system transferred from my old 3ds to my new one, my games all reappeared when I went into the eShop and back out.
