My CycloDS iEvo doesn't work with that version so that I think that the original Evo works with it. But I wouldn't say that it's impossible.

To clear things up:
User "retrospect" says that he managed to boot a CycloDS EVO with a N3DS on 9.0.0 (no iEvo). No proof so far; probably april fool.
I say that I managed to boot a CycloDS iEvo with a 3DS XL with 4.5.0-10 (iEvo). I supplied my way and can even supply a video if anyone wants it.

Can't you just take a pic of the Evo menu running on your N3DS?
I'm skeptical because so far everyone everywhere is saying the old Evo (not iEvo) wouldn't be enabled by this mod. I'd love to be wrong man.

Sorry if this has been talked about but I'm getting a headache staring at my computer screen, How exactly does the timewarp.cia work, (I think) I know it replaces the new blacklist with an old one but is there an exploit you're using to allow it to install, even just pointing to a thread about it would be appreciated

the exploit to allow it to install is whatever exploit you use to get run devmenu

Ah ok thanks, more readiing for me then, I'm kinda enjoying learning about 3ds stuff and I've probably spent more time making my n3ds the way I want it than actually playing games, it's sort of the same and sorta not to other scenes I've been in.

MSET requires specific adaptation by whatever you're intending to use it with, and they will provide the tools to do it if their project is compatible with it.

I just want to install a .cia to a 9.2 3DS that will let the old DS profile exploit work again. I don't even need someone to 'release' it if they can tell me which stuff to grab from a 4.5 3DS.

What I'm saying is, you can't. The old DS profile exploit was ROP that used two (patched) kernel exploits. It will absolutely not work on anything but 4.x unless someone specifically writes an ROP for it that runs completely different kernel exploits.

I get you now. I didn't think it'd be that complicated as I read about some other guys getting it working on the n3DS, they must have done that.

Indeed they did. If you followed their posts you'd see they spent quite a bit of time getting it to work. Each project has to do that in order to support MSET on non-4.x, so when one is released that you want to use they'll most likely provide directions or an installer for it as well.
