Just incase anyone missed this:

get the tissues ready.

I really hope they make the day-time events more interesting and not your standard Persona life bullshit. It looks really really good and the fact they threw the phrase "modern RPG" gives me a lot of hope. The fact its also post-Persona 5 I think means it will ultimately only benefit by the developers having that experience behind them.

Yeah I can imagine if you're a Fire Emblem fan, you'll probably be thinking what the fuck is this.

But as I'm a Persona AND FE fan ontop having a weakness for anime... its probably one of my most anticipated titles for the next year or two along with xenoblade, zelda, trails in the sky second chapter, bravely second and bloodborne.

I kind of want to hope some form of tactical edge remains or is inherited from the Fire Emblem series but maybe thats just asking the impossible as I can't imagine how they'd add that to the game.

TBH the game looks less SMT, less FE and more Persona.

I don't mind as I'm a big Persona fan who feels they need something to refresh the Persona formula.

The fact this game isn't super-Fire Emblem directed gameplay wise leaves me hope that Intelligent Systems will start developing a FE game for Wii U in 2017 [/dreaming]

I would have prefered an approach into the SMT direction instead of Persona. I certainly enjoyed Persona 1-4, but the same concept gets tedious after a while. The lack of a release date was also a big bummer and as such i don't expect a release prior to the second or third quartal of 2016.

While i would love to see a fire emblem on the Wii U, i could bet my left nut sack that it's never gonna happen.

Yeah so would I. I'm just holding onto history.. in that the gamecube and wii both got a fire emblem game.

Sadly I do doubt it since FE is going to sell like hot cakes on the 3DS so it makes sense to just keep pushing it to that... Unless Nintendo are smart and are just building up a huge Fire Emblem fanbase to eventually make a super-epic FE for the Wii U which awakening fans will just have to purchase.

I hope this game does not have social links. Although I enjoy them in P4... I'd much prefer something of more epic Fire Emblem proportions.

Back in this alternate reality Nintendo could not possibly pull of the age verification required for something like that.

True, but who knows what they've got up their sleeves for this new "unified account" thing

Although, I didn't realize that the game was anticipated to be rated "Mature", that kind of makes it a null point anyway
