No, it looks to me like both the Amiibo settings (TitleID000401300000B902) and the "Old3DS nfc system-module" (TitleID0004013000004002) were installed in a previous update.

I also neglected to mention that the new title is only part of the new3DS update.

Confirmed. Both the "Amiibo settings" and the "Old3DS nfc system-module" titles were installed on the old3DS in December as part of the 9.3.0-21 (stages 2-5) updates.

I don't think Nintendo is... It's just that everytime they push a new an update the offset address that GW uses for the redirection might change, thus breaking the emuNAND feature. It's a coincidence...

Also, if they indeed changed the keys, that's a deliberate act for trying to stop piracy in general, not just Gateway

Gateways userbase is far larger, its been out the longest, cheating online (mainly pokemon), editing game saves, eshop/dlc/theme piracy, and their recent added compatibility with 9.2 and n3ds probably didnt make nintendo too happy

This update actually means something to me, because prior to this one I didn't give a crap if it took GW weeks to update compatibility but now I've been playing Pokemon Shuffle and it's going to break my 'check in's

Patching via KARL should allow us to access eShop without updating, right?

Can you circumvent games requiring an update with Gateway? I don't really need to access the eshop as long as I can stay on a lower firmware.
