it has been stated that usbloader gx has been broken with autoboot on i think you can use everything if you turn autoboot off

remenber nintendont lost the hid setting on the options and my guess is usbloader gx tryes to do somewthing and mount your usb hid device instead of the drive.
It isn't. Works fine for me with my gamecube adapter and the same loader setting.

Nintendont creates a meta.xml file in the root of the USB. It always reappears after erase it.
Not really serious, just want to know if someone else has the same thing.

Are you using CFG Loader? It creates both a spurious meta.xml and the nincfg.bin on my SD card instead of the USB root where it's supposed to go.

Yes, usbloader is broken. You might have a particular set of settings through which your current setup works fine, but thats just you. Adjusting settings through a trial and error method to see which config works properly isn´t exactly a solution. Autoboot needs to be fixed.

What settings do you have set in usbloader? What ios? Also, what ports do you have your hdd/gamecube adapter connected to on the wiiu?

IOS 58, force ntsc, mcemu on, progressive on, wiiu widescreen, AUTOBOOT ON.
Usb drive on top back port, gamecube adapter on front ports.
usb loader gx 1241, nintendont 3.315.

Always working fine since the beginning. Nobody has to trust me though.

ULGX is not broken, at least not r1241, autoboot on works fine.

ULGX works with current cIOS availables, there's a compatibility problem between nintendont and ULGX the way you need make a workaround with cIOS and USB slots, it has nothing to do with internal settings. By your logic I would say nintendont is broken because it has not adapted to UBGX.

Problem is it's also been confirmed for several people that ULGX is broken for many people using Nintendont as well so it seems both parties are correct.

Maybe on Wii only? I use a WiiU and have no problems whatsoever with autoboot (I have OTHER problems yeah... But none with Autoboot)

I would like to say something...

For those people having problems with USB loaders (ULGX, Wiiflow, CFG, etc) running Nintendont, please avoid posting such issue here if the problem is not present when you use the standalone Nintendont app from the Homebrew Menu.

Why?
Because Nintendont is not the one at fault, but the USB loader.
If Nintendont works fine by itself (and this is the Nintendont thread), why do people still post it here like if this was the loader's thread?
Head over to the main thread of such USB loader and ask there why X or Y problem with Nintendont occurs.
It could be because the loader itself hasn't been updated to catch up with Nintendont's updates.

Nothing turn on emulated memory card 251 , say no on the calendar

So you have to do these things in order for it to work? I started a new game, did say yes to the calendar and when it gets past the date screen, the game just goes in limbo, and flicks a few times.

Edit: Ok I got it working. Did what you said bm. The one thing I was wondering was I have the component cables hooked up on my wii. Works great now. Just watching the intro video.

problem with saying yes to the calendar is it will try to acess the gamecube callendar which as you might guess wont be available saying no uses the wii calendar time isntead of trying to acess the gc one.

One other thing. It seems that nintendont takes a bit longer to load up to the sd/usb screen since the past few revs. Is there a reason for this?
now nintendont loads the kernel directly instead of loading it only when the game is launched, it takes longer to say sd/usb but its faster to launch the game the time just shifted place really.
