Words you're never able to spell properly?

Aside obvious long medical terms, for me it's diarrea and pronounciation.

The first word is close enough, but I never remember to add the silent "h" and the second word there's no "ou" it's "u".

To make matters worse if you pick the British spelling of the word diarrhea it's "diarrhoea" somehow that spelling looks even worse.
 
Not a single word, but "first things first" has to be my personal final boss.

Other than that I might add "avenger", but just because I learned it wrong once, starting out like you would with the word "avenue". It's still engraved into my muscle memory like that.
 
I don't know... My English is... landless, or whatever, and I find myself sometimes using American spelling, sometimes British spelling, and mixing it without being able to notice, and well, it looks nasty. There are many words that fuck me over nonetheless, sure pronounciation is one of them, but the biggest offense is this salad I make with British and American spelling.

There are a couple words that I can't remember right now that I've always struggled with. The good news is that spelling and grammar are not as important as they used to be. The amount of mistakes and just bad writing I regularly come across online, even in major publications, would have my primary school English teacher pulling her hair out.

I'm this way with pronunciation. I mostly spell things the American way, because the American way is usually the shortest and also the way that makes the most logical sense in my head (basically just cutting out some silent letters here and there)
But when it comes to pronunciation, I pronounce things whichever way I happen to have heard that word the most so it could go either way, and often I'm not even sure if I'm pronouncing things right to begin with.

When it comes to spelling, pronunciation is definitely one word I also consistently get wrong and my subconscious ignores the red spell check marks without me even realizing, in fact I haven't even realized that "pronounciation" is wrong until just today (because "pronounce" and "pronouncing" are correct but for whatever reason the spelling is different for "pronunciation" and it just feels wrong)

There is one other word I remember getting consistently wrong for a long time without realizing it was wrong. Can't for the life of me remember what it was off hand but it's a word I use all the time.

English is my native and only language but I'll be damned if there aren't a bunch of words that trip me up. Usually it's double letters.

Also "relevant" has been kicking my ass recently for some reason. Probably because my particular dialect makes me say it more like "relavent". I am always swapping the a and second e
