ninjax was blocked in 9.3....
Yea I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that. Mental blank.
Well, technically speaking the ninjhax entry point still works, and smea said that he would most likely be able to get RegionThree via Ninjhax on 9.5.0-23.
It's the OS vulnerabilities that were patched in 9.3 IIRC.

I'm surprised they didn't just clean house and close off ninjhax as well and then we'd be all out of entry points.

So if one were to be on 9.5.0-22 already before the update, is there any point to not upgrade? Or is there a chance of 9.5.0-22 having a specific exploit for the future?
You lose one of the only two remaining public exploits. At the end of the day it's your choice to update but what do you want to do exactly with a system sitting on 9.5.0-22

the boot of emunand, multi-rom menu and unsigned CIAs still work

Working properly?

At laest they updated the browser to be faster or more compatible with the pages
I will not update i dont need eshop i already downloaded the updates to the titles i will buy in the future

So that everyone would blindly update to it thinking it's 9.5 and is safe.
Nintendo and there tricks lol.

But it does seem that sky3ds isn't block as people have reported it working but the browser is lock.
It's just because the last two digits is the 'web components' aka browser version is all.

How long has it been there though? 6 months? Nintendo's security team aren't exactly world class if you know what I mean.
nope it was released publicly in January, and the region free, ram hacks and virtual console stuff etc didn't arrive till around the end of January/start of February.....in Nintendo terms that's a super rapid response

but ofc the actual exploit has been there for years :P

Ha, just shows they don't care about region free. If you want to use web exploit, stay on the firmware you are on.
