Old 3DS XL - 4.5.0-10E - 60% 0xfaaffaaf, 20% black screen, 10% see the photo attached, 10% garbage on the screen (I assume it was like the other 10% but text was truncated)

Try the version in the attachment and see what you get. Could you also take a slightly lower resolution photo, I'm on my phone and that took ages to load.
Edit: Also, the times it worked, what was the code it displayed?

People on 8.1 New 3ds you can run ninjhax but it's tricky.
I did this on my red button sky3ds a few months ago and it would still work if my sky didn't stop working. Ok you need two Japan 3ds's they don't have to be the same but one must be 9.2 or under the other is the 8.1 N3ds. Load the game/sky3ds copy of cubic ninja on the the japan 3ds with 9.2 or under (it can be a old 3ds) and do the exploit and save it to the game or sky (I only been able to do it on the red button version). Then put the game or sky into the 8.1 N3ds and load QRcode it will work this is how I was running homebrew on my New 3ds on 8.1j

You can't install the exploit from 8.1 no matter what I have tried everything

I didn't make this all credit goes to shinyquagsire23, I need to put that in big writing somewhere. I'd managed to get the 141a000 pointer by messing around with the test function, so I'd say it's just the last part that isn't running properly.
Edit:141a0000 is this the default it sets it seems, not really useful I guess.

People on 8.1 New 3ds you can run ninjhax but it's tricky.

tested 5 times, 5 times the same result. Legit copy of Cubic Ninja, no other exploits installed.

After 18 successful faffs in a row on my N3DS 9.2E I just got a corrupted code(which is SVC 7B failure - just like a black screen - I believe). Is that the current record? Well, our data proves that N3DS is more stable than other models! Although I suppose we already knew that... But whatever, proof!
Edit: I can not get this going again, the longest I've gotten so far has been 6, I'm just going to give up, this is pointless anyway.

I hope yifan's work on homebrew launcher for spider with kernel access is still in work that'd really be a key thing to achieve greatness on the new 3DS.

Yes, I forget which user it was, but Yifan was explaining that the hardware may be stopping this, so he gave him some info how to get around it.

Edit: Also, I just wanted to say congratulations on all the progress you guys have been getting. It is phenomenal.

Tests were done alternating between each application. For the most part, works well. 3/5 for each test. 60% ain't bad.
Looking forward to help in any way I can. I would happily test 5.1.0 and 7.0.0 if I can figure out how to install updates from ROMs with the latest GW updates.

Okay, sorry for that. I managed to run NInjhax on my 8.1 N3DS LL JPN. However it stuck at 70%. I used 9.0.0-20 J QR code. Changing sdcard doesnot work.

Sorry for hijacking this thread. I am too excited for this project. I have read Ninjhax official website. This is caused by wrong QR Code. But the interesting thing is my N3DS did not asking to update the console for installing internet browser. I guess internet browser is not needed for this, at least I hope so. Once again sorry.

Hi I have 4.5 US 3DS, 8.1 JPN N3DS XL and blue button Sky3ds. I boot Cubic Ninja (JPN reg) on my 3DS under Gateway classic mode. After I scan the QR code, the system just hang. I tried both 4.5.0-10 U/J QR code. Since it is EEPROM Yes game, can you upload your hacked save for me and the other user to test? Thank you.

It doesn't work on blue button sky's because of the way they save I only had it working on my red button version but it stopped working about a 1 1/2 months ago I bought a qq3ds and I can't get it to work with this version

My point was that if you have the real gamecart then I see no reason why this trick wouldn't work if you still have a red button sky give it a try oh and it must be one of the first 10 games! I wanted to share this with everyone to show you can get homebrew working on 8.1 n3ds

Smea's regionfree exploit will not help you for trying to get ninjhax working on 8.1J new 3ds. This is because smea's exploit breaks stuff that ninjhax needs to load I've tried this too
