Do you guys reckon Cyber Sleuth has a chance of an official NA/EU translation? Seems they've taken Digimon in a new direction with the game, maybe they're going to try and bring it back to the west?

I certainly hope so, but I wouldn't count on it. I think Namco was testing the waters with All Star Rumble, and when that failed to sell due to being a terrible game, that probably finished off the series in the US for a while.

Unfortunately, I think you're probably right, no doubt they're probably blaming the low sales of All Star Rumble on it being a Digimon game, rather than the fact that it was just a terrible game all round.

Actually ASR has over 60k in sales, which isn't too bad considering everything about it. Plus cyber sleuth has been featured by bamco in a few videos so I think we'll get it

But 60,000 sales isn't very much for a western exclusive like ASR. Although the cost of them to do a translation isn't anywhere near that of making a whole new game, so I guess there's still a chance.

That's true. However ASR has surpassed my expectations. , which doesn't mean much. Looking at the stats, decode in Japan had about 80k in sales.

Still I'm hopeful especially with the video showing cyber sleuth at jump festa

Man, so many games to look forward to. Gonna need to get my hands on a vita for sleuth.

But games aside, I'm hyped to no end about the new series said to come out this year. That anniversary trailer had me going nuts.

ok im just gonna say this all star rumble is a fun game to play i throughly enjoyed playing it the only downside is no online play i liked it more than super smash brothers brawl but i havent played those much still im not a fan how everyone says this game is terrible if u didnt play it yourself you dont have the right to critisize put thats just my opion on the matter.

and side note im also exited about the new anime but im still critical about it since i dont think they can do anything new with it because i was hoping they would do anime adaptation of v tamer which IS the best digimon anime/manga i have had the pleasure to enjoy but more of the same is good but i just hope it wont be the same digimon partners or at least not the same evolutions anyway.

I bought it the day it came out, and thought it was terrible. I don't have a problem with you liking it, but way to beat that straw man.

I hope to no end they don't fail with the series. On that side note, I have always wanted a proper Veedramon debut somehow outside manga. Same with Examon (Why fiesta trailer had me even more hyped).

I haven't bought ASR simply because of the prices we had to pay in Germany. It was 60€ prior to release after it released it was 55€ for a while and only now it's 40€, like it should have been from the beginning. Also Tales of Hearts R came out on the same day (GJ bamco on that btw) so I had no money to spent on ASR.

I'll say this, ASR isn't my favorite game by far, but I am enjoying it more than DMW4, really hated that game for some reason.

I just fail to see the logic of releasing a fighting game when we're clamoring for RPGs. I'm convinced Decode is out of the picture at this time but Cyber Sleuth has been picked up by a few western gaming sites. Most notable is Kotaku, and despite personal feelings for the site, the fact they had an article on Cyber Sleuth is saying something.

It was also the second game featured Bandai namco on their Jump Festa coverage right behind God Earter 2.

Hello thea, I only wanted to pay my respects towards the hard-working team here and would like to ask a question, which I hope won't provoke the wrath of people here. It's not really about the release date, I know there's no point about asking, I simply wanted to ask Sporky if he'll be writing a progress report on the blog this month? =o I'm curious how your work is coming along.

Decode came in yesterday and got the exploit to work on my NA 3DS. I gotta say, it looks awesome in 3D.

How ever long it takes will be worth it guys.

What size will be of the Iso? Don't understand 32×20Mb! 640Mb!? If yes, then I can't download it....
Well, if you're doing things legally, you'll make your own ISO from the UMD. The patched ISO will be pretty much exactly the same size as the original, a bit over 1 GB, less if you compress it to a CSO. The patch we're releasing should be about 4-6 MBs.

Most patches don't increase the fIle size by much so that's good.
