Should I be able to port my actual emunand when I'll downgrade the 3DS. I want to stay in 4.5, but nobody knows when Gateway is going to release the files and I would to play some games while (and don't lose the saves).
Thanks, but to be honest, I really want the normal one haha. Unfortunately it isn't guaranteed to come with 9.2 and under in a few weeks time. Maybe I'll just order from Superufo now, only $153 with the cheapest shipping option, and then I could sell it later if I wanted to.Escape

The possibility of bricking doesn't mean that the alternative is always bricking. You shouldn't justify every software developer decision with "at least you're not getting bricked".Because stuff like this has the possibility of bricking. "Better safe than sorry" They don't want to risk it. Are you really going to buy their product after they broke your stuff?
I would say that it is worse than EA and Steam support combined, and that's saying something.Their communication is a bit lacking I guess but it's not THAT bad.
I would rather be you, because you're running a supported system and firmware and most people have successfully made it work. You can troubleshoot, get support, and you can replace the Gateway if it is faulty. We can't do shit. You don't want to be me. It should be working and it's not (more or less). Playcoin Setter made Find Mii fun for like 10 more minutes.
If there's one thing that you don't want to downplay, it's the "soon" garbage that Gateway pulls, seriously. There is a mountain of evidence that Gateway constantly promised and broke a fairly large amount of release dates that they gave customers through e-mail. Come on, we all know that the "soon" schtick got old, and it was frustrating. If you want to argue this further, go look over the huge amount of e-mails collected by users over the months. They have not misled anyone about this. You were not promised support at a specific time. You were not promised support at the same time. You were promised that you will get to use it.
Silly question: Is there a way to extract my "Phoenix Right: Dual Destinies" save file from my SysNAND backup and to insert it in EmuNAND?
Why are others saying that Gateways 3.0 UltraFW does not work for the New 3DS because according to Max Console instructions it does:-

No it doesn't. Read the news post on gateway-3ds.com
I'm not going to reply directly the TemplarGR because it seems that we have the Gateway version of Thomas12345/PaGaN on our hands. 0/10 troll.
You can replace your EmuNAND with your SysNAND backup with the EmuNAND tool. Why don't you have the save file on EmuNAND already?
Have you tested Max ways to see if it does not work?

I guess I just hope that people here can stop the "N3DS vs non-N3DS user" battle. You non-N3DS guys should have a little empathy and understanding for us N3DS guys. You guys are having a blast while we're still getting the Soon Treatment. Understand that we're just frustrated.

Thanks for your reply. Well, that's what I'm wondering. After the EmuNAND format (according to the official guide) all my downloaded games, updates, save files and design were missing. I was able to redownload everything for free from the eshop, but my save files are missing (well "file", Phoenix Right is my only digitally downloaded game).
The saves are gone forever if you didn't backup your SD card. Did you?
They sound like little brats.
Is that site safe? they ship to UK?
that thing looks beautiful
