Hacking Help with taiwan 3ds cia cfw 4.4.0-7t

I'm trying to install cia cfw on this console but it just kicks me back at the home menu and reboots when selecting nintendo ds profile

pls help

still not working. mt-card and gw launchers work fine though.

you mean the .dat files work fine? or the .nds loads fine?

its possible the leaked CFW doesnt work on Taiwanese consoles......or your just using the wrong roploader....im not sure if you need to use the homebrew roploader rather than the gateway roploader for the leaked cfw

Did you take the cfw launcher.dat compatible with the gateway exploit? if not you have to use the homebrew roploader like gamerequest1 said.

The Taiwan/Hong Kong/Chinese Mainland 3DS's might be slightly different than your typical USA/EU/JP consoles, best to find a Chinese forum for some help with a Taiwan console, but it might all be in Chinese...

I did not know it was possible to take seriously a comment along the line of "We will sell you defective 3DS as retaliation". I mean, unless I was maybe the CEO of Nintendo or something, but then I'd probably not be waiting for the gatewaygate to unfold itself.

Apologies for going Off Topic... BUT I have a TAIWAN 3DS XL which has been a bit tricky to set up as I only speak English (I wish I could speak other languages!) Anyway, I installed emunand and updated it to the latest firmware but there are no themes - is this usual for a Taiwanese console?

apologies for the vague explanation though (was in a real hurry to leave home).
anyways the dude who sold me this imported it from hong kong it was the only unit that came with a 4.x firmware.

also for the record the unit is functional.
