i dont know if this is in your ally but i have to ask: can you add a way to transform wav files to bcwav??. the only way to do it right know is using a little tool in the nintendo sdk. but i was wondering if someone could came up with a 'legal' alternative.

It has been some time since this thread had a post, but not too long. I don't want to necro...
So through the various decryption tools I have my Bravely Default bcstm files. VGStream supposedly can play them, but using the standalone application simply says "failed opening ImmortalCountry-05-L.dspadpcm.bcstm". The Foobar plugin throws an error as well. Is bcstm simply not known enough to be played? Any help would be appreciated.
Its been a while since tihs post, but only 30 days, I guess that probably is considered a necro but this is the only place I can really ask.It has been some time since this thread had a post, but not too long. I don't want to necro...

I wasn't able to do it, and gave up. You can use the CIA repacking tools from Queno to fully unpack, but I'm not sure it does so properly. That is as far as I got, as the files wouldn't play. Its been a while since tihs post, but only 30 days, I guess that probably is considered a necro but this is the only place I can really ask.
How did you manage to extract the data from the Bravely Default romfs.bin? I'm unable to do it with 3DSExplorer (gives error) and can't seem to do it with anything else either, did you use anything special that you might be able to let me know of at all?

I don't think that anyone's really figured out the file format yet. At the moment, we can't really do much besides dump sounds.(Posting here since there's not a whole lot of information elsewhere and I don't want to bug soneek) Has anyone been able to figure out csar/bcsar files yet? There's a page on 3DBrew documenting the format, but I'm not handy enough with a hex editor to know where to start getting these things into a playable format.

Source has been taken off GitHub too, otherwise I would compile it for you.Is there another link for this? its dead
