Some guy on page 7 of the thread said he can play ROMs just fine on 4.4 EmuNAND with the CFW. Still can't get it to work to verify this, system always freezes once I load up Classic/GW mode on 4.1.

how can you play roms if you cant install cia files till GW 2.6 and you have no red card?
and also can this boot into GW emunand without the red card?
what are the difference between this and govanify/palantine CFW?

Can you update your emunand to 4.5 using a rom and the holding-up-on-dpad trick, would that help?
It worked, thanks a ton! :)
Also, ROM loading works fine. I can play MH4 (6.x I think) just fine.

You can't. I have a GW card so this isn't really an issue for me personally.

No you can't. The difference is that this has built-in plugin support and some other stuff. I have never tried the leaked CFW so I can't tell you about any other differences if there are.

Wait so you need to be on 4.5 emunand to try this? Its omega 2.2 So does it work on up to 7.x? Im having similiar problem where it freezes. My version is 4.4

well i think you would be able to use classic mode with it.....then the added plugins are extra features that the leaked cfw doesnt have but you will have to break out those legit carts:rolleyes:

yeah i think its 4.5 only, basically the code that it uses will only work on 4.5 i assume...freezes on homescreen with 4.1, and doesnt load at all with 6.x

Hm, so from what I can tell this adds more game support then the current CFW has out atm? Maybe this can play those troublesome game, like Pokemon with its save issues.

you can only play roms on it with a gateway card.....so you would be better off using 2.6 instead

I like the idea of the plugin system, might bring lots of cool possibilities along the way too. I think the only think that really makes me ponder about this CFW is of course..the firmware support for it. (No 9.x emunand) Im sure it will get better with the creation of new plugins however
