hypotetically, if you can find the mac address of someone who owns the eon ticket and put it into the mac cycler, it should work. I'm just guessing

My home pass used to work, but now after the changes I'm having some problems.
Is it recommended to use the NZ@McD one, or the traditional attwifi? I never used to have any problems, but now I can't seem to get the thing to work at all.

I just switched my adapter's SSID to NZ@McD and got an Eon ticket first try haha. So yeah I would recommend it. =)

I use SpillPassPi for streetpassing. There's a few other methods available to Broadcast an SSID and change to a MAC that has people streetpassing games.

Hmm, so all the Eon Ticket does is just getting the other half of the Eon Twins? Was expecting more tbh, though it would be convenient for a Nature-Synchronize catch.
Might have to start AS to get another Latios with that.
Edit: Welp, forgot that the original R/S/E event had a Soul Dew attached to them, I guess it's another reason to get them.

Amy chance for a quick tutorial?

http://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-have-a-homemade-streetpass-relay.352645/

That will teach you how to set up "Homepass" for a multitude of devices. I have tried the android method a few times but could never get it working. My brother had bought a Nintendo Wi-Fi adapter years ago so I use that in conjunction with a Windows XP Virtualbox VM. Messy, but it works well.

NOTE: That guide says to use the SSID "attwifi", but I believe some people were having issues with it after an update in October. If you find you aren't getting many connections, try using "NZ@McD1" instead.

I've used NZ@McD1 with BASE16, GBATEMP and all the country lists cycling every 2-3 minutes.

My 3DS will stay in sleep mode for the next 10 or so hours, so you might get lucky. At any case, eon tickets will be spread as wildfire by the weekend.

...And I just got mine.
I have a question though, I received it in my OR game, just wondering if I start a new AS game, would I receive it as well, since the Streetpass data is listed as both ORAS.
