I just got the news and i'm still a bit confused over here.
The steps for getting DevMenu is:
1. Download SDK-2.3.4
2. Rename DevMenu.csu to DevMenu.3DS
3. Launch it through Gateway
(Optional) 4. Install decrypted DevMenu from Govanify ?

So, whats the diference between DevMenu form Govanify and from SDK 2.3.4 ?
What is "devMenu_2x.cia" that i've seen a lot in here?
What can i actually install from DevMenu that i cannot run from gateway (beside the DLC for Mario) ?

Govanify's DevMenu is decrypted, that's why is working.

Tested on both USA and EUR consoles and it's working fine.

You can even take out the Gateway red card after booting into Gateway mode and still play the game from SD!

Those sneaky bastards, still requiring the red card be inserted even though a free solution (albeit, a buggy one) that can load roms has been released.....

Fantastic update, thanks Gateway at least this is a much better method than the silly CFW way, which I could not get working anyway! ;)

Not exactly sure if the people in here are talking about something different when they say "run" but I used the devmenu.csu from the 2.3.4 folder, renamed it to .3ds and it runs fine on my japanese 3DS LL (9.2.1 EmuNAND) for about 5 minutes now.

I got all excited when I saw the "ExtData" tab and turns out you can only delete the data from there... :(
