Must be your cheats that are wrong or something, double check because some games need different cheats for different regions of the same game.
I just tested a cheat.gct with Mario Sunshine and named the game as the ID and the cheat file as the same in the same folder and it worked.

I use USBLoaderGX

I let USB Loader GX download the cheat files. I can't get any cheats to work for Mario Kart Double Dash or Luigi's Mansion. Both are NTSC games.

I also have a wiimote with motion plus integrated (came with the console), using a classic controller pro. Both original.

I used them for a long time with Nintendont (since the BT revision came out) and I never had a problem.

Just played Star Fox Adventures and the subtitles are all out of whack. I checked the compatibility list and sure enough, it mentions this.
Is there any workaround?

Not at the moment. You would have to play like that for now.
Is not game breaking tjough, I finished it 100% with the delayed subtitles being the only issue.

It is annoying until Slippy finishes the translator as you have no idea what Krystal and the dinos are saying.

Funny thing is Dolphin can play the very first cutscene with proper subtitles. Cutscenes after that get no subtitles, not even delayed.

Hello guys,
I have a question regarding Nintendont.

Is there any way to keep the drive in NTFS format and still be able to run Nintendont?
It really bugs me that I have to have drive in FAT32 format.

Just noticed in the compatibility list that Capcom Vs. SNK 2 EO NTSC-U has 480p marked as working with r165. From what I remember Force Progressive made it crash since r149, can anybody confirm that? Because it still black screens with a loud beep as soon as it boots with Force Progressive enabled on r180 for me.

It really bugs me that I have to have drive in FAT32 format.

This bugged me at first also but I just dumped the HDD on to the PC and formatted it and then used WiiBackupManager to put all the Wii games back on and then popped the GC ones on myself.
This way WiiBackupManager puts the big games in wbfs and wbfs1 split for you, no need to have NTFS anymore.

P.s, It still astonishes me how many great GameCube titles there are that I haven't played, thanks to FIX94 and countless others I'm now able to.

I guess it's all about PSO games. It's possible to play PSO online with devolution, but not directly from original disc. Never tried it personally but i guess that devolution emulates GC BBA.
IIRC, Devo emulates a dial up modem which is probably much simpler than emulating a BBA

2. This suggestion is independent of, but related to the one above. Perhaps dual memory card emulation can be enabled so users can have a ninmemA.raw and ninmemB.raw. While I'm not aware of any particular game feature that made use of a card in both ports, I can't see it being a bad thing to have 2 cards loaded and usable at the same time as we would be on original wii or GameCube hardware - assuming that this is within the realm of possibility. I have no clue how resource intensive the emulation of 1 card is.

Any thoughts or comments from anyone? Very interested in hearing what you all think of this.

PSO for one uses a memory card in slot B so you can play with your friend's own save in challenge mode
I know, I know, PSO isn't working in Nintendont yet.

I managed to boot FIFA 06 PAL on WiiU. It only boots, if I force the video mode to "NTSC". This doesn't make much sense to me, since it is a PAL game, but well, it's OK. Have you any ideas concerning this issue? I use a WiiU with HDMI cable. On my Wii with SCART cable it boots with Video mode "Auto".

EDIT: FIFA Street 1 still blackscreens on NTSC, but the reset combo works, so I guess, it works but my TV isn't showing anything.

Unfortunately the PAL versions of the Lord of the Rings games have the same issue. They blackscreen on WiiU with Videomode Auto. If I force to NTSC they boot, but the video is cropped.

There is something about how some EA games handle a PAL signal. It doesn't work, if the WiiU is connected via HDMI. Any ideas?

EDIT2: Mario Golf Toadstool Tour is another one. PAL version works only with video mode NTSC.

I've got the original disc, but PAL only, so no 480p.
My Wii plays GC cdrs, so I guess I can play the NTSC verson fine that way. The NTSC version does 480p and widescreen :)

Sometimes also in nintendont you have proper subtitles in the first cutscene, from my testing it seems to be pretty random.

Umm... No, problem not solved since the random crashes happen with all revissions, Nintendont is still unstable and has random crashes even with sleep mode totally disabbled, DM(L) had some games whcih would randomly crash too like Mega Man X Command Mission but there's no excuse for Nintendont not to get updates to iron these issues down the line especially since it runs on Wii U and uses a native iOS rather than writing on the Mios.

Random crashes are really rare as others have mentioned (non existant for me to be precise) cause we use a combo of nintendont versions for different games (compatibility list and feedback from this topic can point you to the ideal nintendont version for each game).
Btw, when i say combo, i do not mean having tens of different versions. I have 3 alone. If one cannot be arsed to do this, that's his own problem.

Try video:force PAL50?
Sucks, but give it a shot.

Given this opportunity btw, i'd like to give out a tip: i had issues with PAL version of Timesplitters 2 cutting bottom of the screen in 60hz and only showing the whole picture in 50Hz. Solved this by running the NTSC iso in video:Force PAL60. A similar solution also worked for Crash Wrath of Cortex which was also originally cuting the bottom 5th of the screen, but now is fullscreen @60Hz.

BTW has anyone found the PAL version of Smashing Drive online?

I totally agree with nakata6790. Especially if you use a loader like usb loader gx, you can put different folders with different version of nintendont inside every one of them, and simply change the path in the loader config according to the version you want to use!

I guess you're luckier than I am, anyway compatibility (as far as I know) is just great at this point and there's no need to revert back to older revisions since all the games that worked before work now with the latest version, I had an old rev for Sonic Gems Collection but since the game was fixed I completely removed it as well as Devolution.

I still think Nintendont is by far the best GC loader though it's still far from perfect and there are still several games in my collection that randomly crash like Mega Man X Command Mission, Soul Calibur, and even Crazy Taxi, and some games don't even work such as PSO, Batman Vengeance, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, Frogger Ancient Shadow, Namco Museum, Midway Arcade Treasures 2... etc

Don't get me wrong I'm being grateful for what we have it's beyond amazing and we're getting it for free but all I'm saying is while Nintendont got me to no longer need Devolution that I completely removed it, I still can't completely replace it with Dio Mios since I still use it with several games, mostly PSO that's such a great game!

Edit: forgot to mention also real memory support still needs some work, every time I try it I get an error message saying it's corrupted and cannot be used, no it doesn't even let me format it just says it can't be used, which is weird because it works fine with real GC games, DM(L), Devolution, and I can go to the GC saves channel and load the saves just fine so I'm certain it's not my memory but Nintendont being weird.
