I appear to be having some trouble with multiplayer. GameCube ports 2 to 4 are unresponsive, only port 1 seems to be working. Tested with Smash Bros Melee and Double Dash, issue occurs in both games.

I also tested with a GameCube controller compatible Wii game to make sure it wasn't a hardware issue with the ports or controllers. Multiplayer works fine there.

Both controllers are genuine GameCube controllers, wired. Playing on a softmodded Wii. Using the latest v2.187 version updated today.

donkey kongs required special hardware(congos), gekitou pro yakyuu is on the gamecube already, starfox was never released, and the key of avalon series requires far too many special hardware components to ever be emulated(touch screen, card readers, multi cabinets). There are also the virtua striker games, of which, only 4 and 4-2k6 havent been ported, though 2k6 runs on qf. So yea, of the 4 games that will ever be running on wii/wiiu, only mkagp2 and vs42k6 remain to finish out the "set" for nintendont. All 4 obviously already run on qf. I'm just hoping Fix can get the save support working for them on nintendont ;)

edit: and btw, has anyone tested out midway collection volume 2 and 3 yet with the latest rev? I saw sonctopfan tested vol2 and said he had problems. I dont have access to my wii's atm otherwise i'd just test them myself. thanks :P

i just tested mkdd with 2 gc controllers on port 1 and 2 and they work fine are you using a loader? if you use wiiflow/usbloadergx force maxpads to 1 by default which means only port 1 check that.

Hi.
with the loader 2.178 crash wrath of cortex(pal) the screen is cut off, even forcing to pal 50
just tryed it and it works fine on 178 are you sure you dont have force widescreen or progressive? i only have mcemu on and it works fine.

Did some testing.
-Sonic Gems Collection works fine, I officially removed Devo from my Wii (now if only I can find a Japanese iso because Sonic CD's Japanese soundtrack is far superior).
-F-Zer AX works like a charm, I didn't notice any slow downs and controller works great, this is a step up over Quadforce.
-Sadly though both Mario Kart games are broke now, black screen from start (confirm?)

yeah composite cables started giving issues afew revs back as i recal dracorex mentioned it afew times if you can try with the wii default cables and see if it works we can isolate the issue

Good to know it's not me then, they worked few revs before but Triforce been updated in the last couple of updates and it seems both Mario Kart are broken now.

Edit: This may be silly to ask but is there a way to force US games to work in Jap region instead? Like to fool the game to think you're running it on a Jap console? I know it sounds silly but it's because if such a method is possible I can just use my "legal" copy of Sonic Mega Collection (US) to play Sonic CD with the Japanese soundtrack since the game originally has both soundtracks within but loading a certain region changes the soundtrack!

OK I've tested four different versions of FIFA 06:

The European (english), Spanish and German version have blackscreen on boot on WiiU on r177. At least for the european version I can assure that it works on normal Wii on one of the recent versions, so most likely also on the latest. I will test all those version again tomorrow on my Wii.

The US version works flawless on my WiiU.

FIX94: It would be very nice, if you could take a look at this. FIFA 06 is one of the games which works on Wii but not on WiiU. However this problem occurs only with the PAL version of the game. I hope you have both consoles. If you could manage to solve this, the solution would most likely also fix the other FIFA games and maybe even Medal of Honor.

But even if this problem remains unsolved: Thank you again for your amazing work!

I tried to get my hands on a Medal of Honor European Assault PAL ISO to test also this but couldn't find any other version, only the NTSC.
It still makesme curious to know what the issue about those games that work on Wii but not on Wii U is.
