So not only it has double the RAM but it also has at least double the processing power.
I sure want to see what devs will be able to do in terms of homebrew on the New 3DS.
Multicore is not used in most emus and homebrews.

I updated my normal 3ds and black theme is the only one i liked even if the other themes where free i wouldnt download them. If they are able to fix emunand we will be able to play Pokemon omega ruby

I have a real copy of smash can I use that to try and update the gateway card and see if it fixes the 0000001F error?

it won't, emunand version/sysnand version have no bearing on whether the FPGA update works, its most likely a faulty card, i suggest you get in contact with your reseller for a replacement

I read this update was coming out this month hence I downloaded the Smash update as soon as it was released.

£2 for a couple of images and wav file.....hmmm think ill pass, theres a reason they dont let you make your own....and that because they want to overcharge for 2 minutes work

They must be stored in order on the SD card somewhere, when theme bought .... to edit ones own.

Unless they have found away to Encrypt this to just like the demo's and games, !lol most likely , are used there own extension type of files.

Just a question of looking what's new on the DS card, Are if... bit of hex cracking for them pros to :)

If not SD card, Not sure if the systems memory is a big size for wav files ext .

Its SD card DLC content. All themes are stored under the same title ID, title/0004008c/00008f00/content/00000000/
Whenever there's a new theme added, a .app file is added to that directory and the .cmd file is updated.

The free simple color themes look good enough for me. I have a black 3DS.

Smash Bros. online still works on 8.x, so everyone be happy.
only if you went on eShop and downloaded the patches before the update went out.

Multicore development/debugging is definitely not easy as pie.

This probably doesn't surprise anyone, but the R4i Gold 3DS still works, and probably every other R4 clone that worked with 8.0 is going to work no problem. I still think it's good to confirm it, even if it seems like Nintendo pretty much doesn't care about DS mode carts anymore. :P

Are you playing dumb or haven't you figured out yet? he is saying Nintendo servers suck.
It's not just about Internet connection, is it so hard to get it?
Apparently they only suck if you're not in America according to him.

Which also makes sense.
At least according to his testimony we can say Nintendo has a difficulty in providing good online gameplay
to places that are distant from Nintendo servers, which are located in USA.

Thanks for the info

I got you're point, at the start of the year I got a 2DS and started to look into file system , yes .app and .cmd gets all game and system information , also they are written into the title.db to as they change in hex editor.

Later on in year I managed to get a 3DS XL sadly passed gateway firmware also update it by mistake - no two data was same with HexCmp matching hex, Seams that yes each 2DS/3DS has it own encryption on downloading content , this can also happen on a full format of the system memory , encryption changed once again , Has its own new filter upon downloading .

Nintendo 3DS / ? / ? <- are 30 numbers long, wow and they change also... might have some think to do with encryption filter are not .

Shame they did not find a way to decrypt .app .cmd est files to see how it's written , just like they did 4 3DS_CTR_Decryptor-VOiD .3ds files .

Maybe come to some day :)

SYSTEM UPDATE 9.0.0-20

Posted on October 7, 2014
News just reached us about System Firmware 9.0.0-20 being released, and some users have already notified us that 9.0.0-20 emunand is not booting.
We have analysed this update for a bit and we can reassure our users that we expect to have a new Launcher update ready shortly.
Our originally planned Launcher for the next release will be put on hold until we have emunand support again.

Until next time, ENJOY!
