For everyone out there interested in exploring how the ROP works, it's a good learning experience, but the effort would be better spent on figuring out more of the Wii U userspace. That includes finding more SDK functions, learning how to use them, and possibly even making mini-games out of them. Exploring the userspace will definitely be beneficial when we want to write homebrew for the platform.

Also, any experienced hackers who want a crack at the kernel, IOS, or RPX loader, go ahead. ;)

This is VERY exciting!! Though this is only the beginning, I would LOVE to see what kind of homebrew we can get going on the WiiU! :) I don't think I've been on GBATemp for quite a while, since people slowly stopped supporting the original Wii. Haha

I did tell people not to update to 5.0 but meh...

Well, it's not the only webkit exploit out there and you can always update ROP addresses to get this one to work.

Its the like saying "Curiosity killed the cat", as people are too simple minded these days and to eager to jump the gun without analyzing things first. It also amazes me that people are pre-ordering WiiUkey, which if it was me, I would let the dust settle, if and when it does get released. As soon as anything "piracy" related gets mentioned its like flies on shit.

Leaking shit to garyOPA, how's his dick ?

You know me well enough by now that if I leaked something I would say so and claim it! I could give two shits if some people I don't know on the interwebz get pissed at me. Fact of the matter is Gary had the files before I did....

It would pretty ingenious for someone that took so much heat for the last leak to send OPA an anon email to have it leaked so he could post it on his site later though....nice move Greg! Keep up the good work! This way you get to post the news and let Gary and the **cough** anon leaker take the heat for it. Nice clean setup you made for yourself there.

Why don't you go post some real news instead of trying to perpetuate drama....or better yet, how about report how much F0F got for selling the hack to the WiiKeyU team? You, I and almost everyone else knows they did, yet it's oddly funny how none of the major sites reported it.....

He is right though, Gary OPA is arrogant about these kinds of things, I don't know why you defend him when he verbally slaughters anyone who disagrees with him on that excrescence of a forum Max Consoles. Just saying. While the drama in these scenes is ridiculous, I don't know why people defend that dude.

So does this mean that Nintendo can now patch it and I wont see hackers in my wii U call of duty games?

+1 to who ever leaked the exploit

Well you are a PS3Crunch bitch, so go figure, the person 'niceshot' already admitted giving it to you and stated you gave it to your master faggotOPA.
Also you state that marcan and f0f sold shit to the WiiuKey cunts, shows how naive you are, trusting such words from someone in WiiUKeys pocket...

You guys, grow a pair, get some maturity and stop making these scenes full of trash no one wants to deal with or help out. PM each other your junk. Name calling like little 3rd graders always non stop. It gets annoying. Rant on your twitters about your ego woes.

1st, f0f is more than 1 person. It seems unlikely the team sold the ode/dongle code/exploit.
And IF you spent good money on an exploit, why would you sit on it for a year?
And why IF it were true, would it not be ok for 1(or more) member(s) to sell an exploit if they found it originally.

The rule(usually) is if you find an exploit it is your decision alone what happens to it. You wanna release it, ok. You want to sit on it, ok. You wanna sell it,ok. Closed source/open source it does NOT matter it is yours to say/decide.
When did this rule change?

I personally do NOT believe this crap/smear. Sven/Marcan/Comex have all been helpful. Maybe not to the liking of everyone. There have been over 63 pages and 1250+ posts in the
Coding vWii 3-core support - everything you need to know.

about 50+ pages and over 1000 posts could be trimmed as not useful or relevant. But when asked a question those guys have helped/replied. It's too bad, while they were active, more interesting questions weren't asked. That is not their fault.
