Well guys, 12 hours passed since the release and I am making the first conclusions, seeing the first possible bug reports (most seem be caused by DeSmuME 0.9.10 so switch to 0.9.9) and naturally I am checking how "successfull" this translation was.
By looking at the numbers, i can not stop thinking about the past 3 years and I would like all of you to take 5minutes to reflect about it.
How many times I was trying to explain all the problems we had, how much flaming we had when we missed a release date or when we didn't post any news for a week, how many posts of "anger" and "hate" sometimes we had in the forums .
So many was so loud when they didn't get what the wanted. Now we are here, the project is completed so that you guys can enjoy it but I am missing something. Can you guess what is it??
We got about 3600 downloads combining both patch already and between here and the CR forum, we got about 55 people saying thanks.
Even assuming that everybody dowloaded both patch, I am missing 1745 people to say thanks for spending 3 years of our life to give you something for free!
I don't want to force anybody to say thanks because they downloaded the patch, but I would like to make people think about themself and what kind of person you are if you can not find 1 min to post a thanks while waiting for the download to complete.
I know that probably all my words here are probably be read from the wrong persons because who will read this are the people that will post a thanks even without reading this and all the persons who should read this, are already long gone but I want to write it anyway.
So to all guys who said thanks, I say you are the best, make me very happy to see people like you not just because of the project but because of real life too.
To all that didn't say thanks: I am pretty sure your mother and father teached you to say thanks when you got something when you was young, just because it's the internet or because now you are grow up, you just can forget about that basic education "rule"???
See yaa in the next project
