Hacking Flashcard do's and don'ts?

Hi everyone!

So I'm planning to get myself a 3DS Flashcard and my 3DS is at 4.2E. However, lately I've been out of touch with the flashcard scene and when I was back checking, I saw that bricking was all over the place. So I'm kinda confused. Anyone could help me understand better? Aren't flashcards safe anymore? Or does the bricking occur only when you try to create a NAND dump? I just want to play the games off the flashcard and don't need access to eShop, so does that make flashcards safe for me?

Also, how reliable is the eachmall website or where else can I get the best deals? I'm planning on getting the cheaper cards.

How about eachmall though, is it safe for flashcard purchase?

In my personal experience I've not had an issue with eachmall. Shipping takes forever, as is normal from any shop shipping from China/Hong Kong.

Also m8 don't go for any cheap cards at all it wont pay off, you will regret it in the end and may end up re-ordering another spending more monies! I would purchase a Gateway/MT-Card and go with the resellers option, don't go cheap!!! There has been issues and reports about peeps buying cheap cards as there can be clones involved also old models not compatible with new firmware not working with region free roms and games not working ie for example The New Yoshi's Island game etc.. all sorts could happen!. Just friendly warn you

I would go with a Reseller Gateway card every time for the extra cost but some say I am just a GW lover but I like to play it safe! I have two Gateway cards and never for one point did I ever consider buying cheap cards like R4i or even the MT-Card. I paid around £62.00 for one of my cards from Teensy Reseller.
