Hacking problem with eachmall. Pointers/advice?

I ordered 2 Gateways from eachmall i dont remember how long ago. Maybe like 2 months ago. I ordered them separately tho.

Turns out, i got one gateway and a note saying that they were out of gateways, instead, they replaced my order with a "NEWER" "better" flashcard R4i gold 3ds.

WTF.

Im pretty pissed right now. Anyone ever experience a situation similar to mine? Paypal's not in the picture, so im not sure about how to explain/demand my true order.

get in touch with them and explain you don't want a r4i gold 3ds, and that if they can't supply a gateway card you would prefer a refund to look elsewhere

also worth noting the r4i is considerably cheaper than the gateway card....did they charge you full price too?

Not sure haha but what redkeyboard was suggesting is akin to asking for a chargeback with credit card company because you were sent a vial of smallbox when you specifically made an order for anthrax.

People have been doing chargebacks on less than legit items for years, the banks don't really care what you where buying

But regardless chargebacks should be a last resort try contacting them first

Maybe you could take a picture of the note, and spread it all over the web (or just here ). If Eachmall cares about their reputation, they might do something about it.

Unless of course Eachmall was bribed by the chinese mafia, and this is just a smear campaign against Gateway, etc...

I for one have received my Gateway from Eachmall in decent time without problems and it's an original Gateway, so that's that.

Generally flash carts aren't illegal. I'm not sure if they are in OP's country.

Althought i AM in Nicaragua currently, the flashcards were ordered by my father, up in Toronto. So, to reiteriate, What can he do (living in Canada), in regards to this problem?

You can just bullshit saying you got flashcard to play backups if you really need chargeback tbh if you email them you should get it sorted and if you don't want much hassle just keep the r4i since you got both unless you must have gateway (atm they are same until new update).

Are flashcards universally considered illegal in some places? People should have a right to backup their games/use specific features if they legitimately bought both the system and the games they are backing up.

some of u seem to be missing the point. i DONT want another clone, i just had one about a couple of weeks ago, was stolen alongside my laptop and 3ds, i ordered TWO gateways, and that is what i expected, and apart from that, im being charged 62 bucks for a R4i gold 3DS deluxe edition, which costs 37 bucks.

In other words, im not getting the full package, and im being ripped off.

Have you tried contacting them about it? There's nothing we can do, it's them who has the power to fix this, not us.

If they're still not helping you out, file a chargeback and try to get your money back.

Yep if there is that much of a cost difference you are getting ripped hard , but that is what can happen when you order from a shop not on the reseller list

seems you aren't getting the point, nobody here can help you more than we already have. you have 2 options(excluding stupid ones like going to their HQ and throwing poo).
1. speak with eachmall and explain you ordered a gateway and received a cheap clone card instead, demand either it be swapped for a gateway or you receive a full refund
2. speak to your bank and get a refund through them


going forward from this try to stick to official resellers in future
