Hacking Anyone have any news whatsoever about Gateway 3DS multi-ROM?

Try trimming your ROMs. I bet you anything that you will cut them down to under 40GB.

No idea how anyone has more than 32GB of 3DS roms already. There aren't even that many good games, lol.

Dunno. I downloaded every game I would want to play though, and it's only about 22GB.

I have tested almost the entire ROMset in the (U) region, and a handful of (EUR)-only ROMs. Every single one works just fine, trimmed and de-updated.

Mostly I just stick to the bare essentials since I have a giant backlog between Steam, my hacked Wii, and my CFW PS3 already. And yet all I play is League of Legends, Pokemon, and Skyrim anyway. Lol.

I have about 14GB (they are in compressed in rars though and I run them through trimming and update removal) right now
I would just get the 64GB to be on the safe side, they were on sale at newegg last week for $35 (sandisk UHS-1)

as of right now the 32gb is the biggest that the gateway card supports they are working on getting the 64 gb card to work I sent them a email on it. ive posted on gbatemp about that already.

64gb microsdxc cards work just fine. I got one in preparation for multirom and have used it without issue.

I don't even want to get into my backlog of games. At least 50 Wii games, 40 3DS games, 20 or 30 legitimately paid-for PS3 games, half a dozen Vita games, a dozen or so Android games... I could go without any new game content for two years, and still not play the same game twice.

No, I just meant it works just fine for single ROM use. I don't see why it wouldn't work with multirom either. I don't know what file system the card will need for multirom though.

I know 32GB is fine I was talking about a 64GB one so it will save me switching cards back and forth ..

I don't think we can really tell at this point what size card is supported because we are not currently accessing the card from a normal filesystem. Being able to access a 8GB rom partition on a 64GB card is not the same as being able to access a filesystem spanning the entire 64GB.

That hasn't stopped French people from getting them. They get in somehow. Besides, you can't be 100% sure anyway unless you're on the team or know them personally (or it has been revealed, which it hasn't; at least not in this forum).

Awesome, I finally found someone like myself! Not only do I have every EUR 3DS rom, I also have every DS rom for every region, and every US GBA, GBC, and GB rom as well.

just cause it works using win32diskimage doesn't mean it will work as multirom function. the chip probably only sees 32gb until they program the chip to safely use 64gb. all I can say is wait and see when they release the 2.0 firmware and then try it if it doesn't work then we will know.
