Its been 24 hours at most since I got that email... We will see if they come through. Like I said I don't know who said that at gateway. If it doesn't happen in 48 hours then I'm sure it will happen soon. Maybe they shut down site to update it with v2.0...

I saw the multirom video on the gateway website I believe it was around Christmas time. They played 3 back to back Roms. I believe 1 was Pokemon x or y' animal crossing and some other game...
Well we can't check now since their website has been down all day, but I don't remember them showing off Multi-Rom. I do remember them playing Pokemon, though.
If you click on products I think and scroll down they have a video with multirom working proof or something in title but it won't play anymore. It acts like its loading then says banned by belgium

Really you can't read the description that says gateway presents first video of 3 backup Roms played back to back!!! And I personally saw the video. But whatever I guess you know everything!

This is the first video they released, which featured them swapping 3 different Mini SD's on a single Gateway card. It is not referring to Multi-Rom.
but how do you know the video is blocked in the netherlands if you are in the US? and why is it bloked in the US too,or is GW site hosted in the netherlands?
and since you saw the video, then how does their multirom work? how do you switch the roms?
You know I actually don't remember how they actually switched them cause oli only saw the video once. I believe it was still in the workings because there wasn't a menu yet. I believe they used the l and r buttons to switch through the games or I even more basic where you load the game and once you exit it it goes to the next game on SD. The reason I say Belgium blocks it is the message I get when I try to run the video. Try it. Got to gateway click on products and try to play the video..
It says consecutively!!! Man I'm telling you I saw the video with my own eyes and they loaded one SD card in and were able to load up 3 games!!!!

I have a gateway and would not have been impressed by playing 3 Roms on a gateway the normal way
The MAIN QUESTION HERE: they never gave a direct yes or a direct no, did they remove the brick code or not? This is what people are concerned about now.
Did you go to gateway and check it out. It even says it in the description. I'm over this conversation. Believe it or not I really don't care. I know I'm not bullshitting!
From what I heard gateway would be stupid to do it again with the v2.0 update but who knows..

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.+1 -

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
