The plastic looks very poor and the case is shoddily put together, but fair enough, hot swapping games works and that's what everybody cared about, so... well done, we have another player on the scene, I guess! ;)

With google translate, this is one of the points under the con's:
- No Emu Nand Mode and Classic Mode.

Very good, though - it definitely sounds like we have a third viable option. Importantly, we appear to have a second distinct code base, which is important for the future.

I'd expect more out of a legitimate team doing original work. Everything is based off of GW's launcher/menu except for the modifications that allow it to run multi-rom. That being the case, they're more like a clone with the willingness to put a week's worth of work in beyond what it takes to convert GW's latest firmware to run on their hardware.

I can't help but wonder if more of their "coming soon" features would have been working if GW 2.0 was released already.

Clones are necessarily bad per-se, because they do a good job of driving competition and innovation, just like MT Card did with the button switching mode. Hopefully Gateway can pull together a feature that allows for multirom from within a UI of sorts.

whilst i agree straight clones are just twatty, if any cloning was done here, atleast they actually did something else apart from trying to disguise the fact they cant do anything themselves...... its somewhat positive....i already have a gateway and i have more faith in gateway providing features than some new kid on the block who seems more interested in say FIRST!!!!! than making a fully functioning product with features that are considered basic at this point such as emunand and getting newer games working. anyway i agree that it is competition that drives innovation so even though this card looks like crap inside and lacks a lot of features that are already available on all the other cards (granted only gateway actually developed the firmwares and the others ripped it off)

but non the less i feel that the MT card is going to be redundant once gateway 2.0 final is released unless they can actually create something new or innovative to go with the product......and finish the stuff that they left out to be able to say FIRSTTT!!!! lol i think there is room for 2 cards in the market to keep each other on their toes but still i feel MT was very rushed and hardware wise the build quality doesn't look too well designed but kudos for trying rather than copying

Why do you have to wait from someone from eu/usa to review the MT-Card ? or you think every review come from the asia guy is always fake ?
I acually get this flash cart coz' I've direct contact to MT-Card staff so that's why I got it as quick as other user.

If you waiting for Gbatemp's User to review the MT-card, Now you already met him. ;)

I can't write the review in english coz' It's hardly to explain in other language and I think the review in thai is not suitable for Gbatemp so I've to use the direct link to the orignial article webpage

Here you have an English review, a compilation of testing made by a reviewer in this forum (which won't write his review here):

Their support is really broken.

It doesn't support Card2 games.
It doesn't support SDK5.X games.
It doesn't even support regular 5.X games; saves get corrupted.

Their main progress was all the changes they did to Gateway's menu. As you can see in their video, the first menu was more similar to GW's and that's pretty much they work since then.
