How do I zip multiple files at once?

If you're wanting to put multiple files each in their own archive, you can, for example, use WinRAR to do this. Select the files you want to archive, go to Add, click the Files tab, and select "Put each file into separate archive." If you're wanting to put multiple files into one archive, select them all (or select the folder) and put it into an archive like you normally would.

I already have winrar. But does it make zip files?

Yes, WinRAR has the ability to output ZIP files. You should see the option to use ZIP instead of RAR. There's also an image in the URL Ericthegreat posted.
