Hacking Will r4 team get new Emunand out before 6.3 is pulled

Nintendo has said the new 3DS firmware is coming in December and here we are a week in.....Thankfully Gateway released their Beta so those of us with Gateway or even 4.5 machines have built our Nand paritions on our cards and are good to go.....

My concern is will r4 get their update out before Nintendo updates, and if they don't how will users build an updated EmuNand on their memory card.....I hope both teams come up with a way to do an update of your EmuNand with a game cartridge.....that would be best.

I more or less don't care about this update right now, I just want to freakin' use the damn thing. I've been waiting 3 months now to have fun with my 3DS, and the wait will be over sometime this week...

use the Gateway files to get the nand setup on your SD card, then all you will need to change launcher.bin for the R4i one when they release it

Say I get a gateway after nintendo releases a new firmware. Will I be unable to use all of its functions (note: as is right now)?

I mean, you are required to update your system while in gateway mode, right? So if the latest firmware won't be 6.3 (and of course nintendo won't let you update to an older firmware when there is a newer one), will this mean that, until the gateway team catches up, all you can do is play <6.3 games in classic mode (offline only)? Or would even that not be a possibility?
