Hacking newbe seeking clearing

Hello everyone ~ I’m happy owner of a NDS&M3 Card, it gave me a couple of problems but nothing I couldn’t manage. Now I’m looking forward to get a N3DS, I’ve been searching on some of the existing cards and I must confess that the more I read about it, the more confused and stupid I feel >.<!
Right now, planning to go for this one:

(Not sure if I’m even allowed to post the website, I will remove it myself if necessary)
But before any of that I would like to make sure of a couple of things…

It WILL allow me to play 3DS roms, right?

Will I be able to play them online like the NDS?

Is there a better option besides R4i Red?

Could there be any version issues between the console & card that I can’t solve via software update?

Feel free to share your personal opinion and all. I’ll be really grateful J

that card can't play 3ds roms, only ds roms

if you have a 3ds be sure you got the right firmware (this card only supports 5.x and bellow)
support for this card is probably already dead

btw, for 3ds roms, you have 3 options, gateway 3ds, r4i gold 3ds deluxe, or 3ds link

for any of theese cards your 3ds firmware must be lower than 4.5x

i recommend gateway or r4i gold 3ds deluxe, it's your choise

1. Nope, only DS roms.
2. Yes
3. Supercard DStwo
4. Not that I know of.

that doesn't play 3ds games, the only cards that can play 3ds games at the moment are gateway,R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe Edition, and the 3dslink one and you can only play 3ds games on 4.1-4.5 firmware if you're past that you're screw.

it's up to you, does your 3ds got firmware 4.5x or lower? you can use theese cards, if its above that, you can't do anything except buy a ds cart like dstwo and play ds roms

I haven't bough it yet.
I was actually planning to buy a used one, so most likely, ill keep an eye on that when I buy it, thanks!

check the firmware before buy it, if its 5.x or 6.x you can't use theese cards,

people in this forum recomend you to buy a 3ds from a local small electronic store, with 2012 copyright on the box, that makes sure you will have a 4.5 or lower firmware

Oh I see that you are Portuguese as well. I'm actually thinking about fetching mine at Games, since they re-sell used console and games, might give me a better chance on finding one
