Just started playing the 3DS version of Ocarina of Time and noticed the hint providing Sheikah Stone. While I haven't had to use it yet its a nice feature to have for later in the game. My question is whether or not Link Between Two Worlds has a feature of this nature. Thanks.

Yep there is some sort of feature in the new Zelda.
Theres a fortune teller that helps you a bit out when you pay 20 rupees (but just some basic hints... nothing too detailed - not a video hint like in OOT 3d!)
and there are some ghosts too - i never talked to them so far because i dont want to have those hints.

You get some strange looking glasses from the fortune teller - if you wear them you can see the ghosts... to gain those coins to pay the ghosts you have to take your ds with you and walk in real life as you can read in the comment above

but if you ask me ... the new zelda is far too easy... usually you dont need those hints.. i m a bit dissappointed in it because you can go whereever you wanna go and make dungeons the way you want to go through them... theres not much of a challange sadly....
for example i guess is skipped one dungeon accidently.... i just moved some steps and accidently walked into the enemy (without getting any item... kinda crazy if you ask me..)

I miss Sheikah Stones too, it was hilarious to make them fly with a bomb...

Didn't played aswell, been looking for it in my village, but it's all closed, damn!

So would you say LBW is easier than Hourglass? I haven't played every game in the Zelda series but I would think Hourglass would rank fairly high in the series in terms of difficulty. And in general would LBW rank as one of the easiest of the entire series?

hourglass was one of the most easiest most repetitive zeldas ever made, spirit tracks corrected it but didnt upped the difficulty.

yep, i can confirm that.
In my opinion Hourglass was really easy... I think LBW is a bit more difficult (just a bit because the damage dealt in the beginning when you enter the dark world first is damn high .... monsters usually dont hit you if you move but i think the dealt on the player is friggin high ... later you get a an "item" to reduce the damage... after that it is turning into the easiest zelda ever if you ask me ^^)

Anyway: The game itself is really awsome! you should buy and try it ;) short dungeons sadly, but pretty neat story ... there are a lot of dungeons so you will take some time to play through it...

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.

I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
