Gaming Threw a PS4 game into the PC

I checked out what was on a PS4 disc. There seems to be only 4 files, a PS4UPDATE.PUP fw file that's just over 1GB, a rif file, a param.sfo and a huge pkg file to be installed/cached onto the PS4.

Total size of Knack is just under 40GB.

How do you feel about previous playstation controllers?
Normally I find the Playstation stuff functional enough (which is no mean feat) but they hurt my hands after a few hours which basically renders them useless.

I can understand where you are coming from. The original duel shocks were kinda painful after playing a few hours of Crash Team Racing. The only other real problem I had with them where the convex analog sticks. After a while I felt like my fingers were sliding off the pads. And the Duelshock 3s had weird R and L 2 buttons.

But all of that aside, I like the PS controllers more than any other.

Also OP or someone that can do it what does the underside look like? If there are hidden partitions/raw LBA reads there may be a line or some other mark that could indicate things.

The huge PKG file contains all the game files, it's a container like a zip file or Steam's GCF format, but possibly encrypted to prevent anyone from extracting files out of it.

I was dragged into this thread by the semi-stupid title. Seriously, nothing will happen if you insert a PS4 disc into your computer. It's the same thing that'll happen if you insert a N64 cartridge into your Wii.

YES yes , they are too small for me im good for a short while then i start to cramp up . Need pads for mens hands too .

i've enjoyed each version of the playstation controller. i can game with the ps2/ps3 controllers for 10+ hours without any issue. ps1 i never had problems with but the d-pad on the original controller is a bit stiff, and i don't like gaming with it for long periods of time, yet i can without issue.

The same thing happens with the 360 controller for me, but I can play with the PS1/PS2/PS3 controllers for hours.

The name of the game, the size, the files that were in there, a big picture showing three drives on the computer with the storage capacities visible, a big picture showing the files that were in the disc, a big picture with hex values on it, a picture of the PS4 disc in the computer's disc slot... what exactly did I miss? It hadn't occurred to me that PS4 discs could be read by a computer (which I wouldn't know much about anyway since I'm not that modern), but maybe that's the case.

The title reminded me of a Youtube video where the uploader trolled a bunch of people. I thought it was funny, but other people didn't.
