A shiny fennekin is very valuable, you could trade it for other shinies, legendaries and who knows what more.
Trading it for a pidgey is nonsense, I'd easily give you my lvl 50 pidgeot for one of these.

i love wonder trade. yeah i get crap but that just gets dumped back into the pool till i get something i want/need/thinks cool. so far ive gotten, 2 dittos, 4 eevees, all 3 kanto starters, all 3 of the x/y starters, a mawhile, snoralax, and some ive forgotten. so i guess ive gotten lucky. but i also "pay it forward" by breeding and have dumped all the starters back into the WT unless they were females, ive kept them. btw add me people.

I usually do trades of Pokemon I think are inaccessible through normal means. Like, I trade a bunch of Elekids, Deerlings, Spirittombs, ect. The end result usually will be me getting a level 4 Bunnelby. Best I've ever gotten has been a Japanese Ditto.

the first shiny fennekin was my 2nd egg and the other 2 where done in under 200 eggs. I'm actually having a harder time breeding a shiny Riolu. Yeah I know I could've traded it for something good, but it's more fun using wonder trade it's always a gamble and I'm sure who ever received that shiny is happy just like who ever received my Yveltal.

This weekend I dumped hidden ability Eevees, ALL timid Ghastlys, Protean Froakies, and Rufflets.

I have a box full of Espurr's I got from breeding to create a modest female Meowstic with infiltrator(wanted a shiny too, but never happened even with masuda method and got tired ) for serious battles, some of them are even infected with pokerus, i'll be dumping them to wonder trade and see what I got.

For me, i chose charzard and the same guy is selling me a blastoisinite for 1,000,000.(RIP OFF)
I guess it'll change depending on what starter you chose.

Anyway, you guys are making me want to try out the wonder trade later today, i have yet to try it.
