Hacking Dios Mios Issue

I am a newb.



Ive installed dios mios v 2.9 now not sure if thats current or bad...

Ive installed usbloaderGX/cfgLoader to rev's that are compatible with DM (NOT DML)

I plan to use my HDD to run DM GC backups but get

apploader is zero error.....


did i miss something, ive been reading an awful lot and cant seem to pick anything that i missed...


installed DM (not DML)
Wii was hacked using ModMii recent so I think im good there?
loaders seem to be compatible...


if someone can give some help or name great loaders for GC backups and DM support it would help.

also .. yes i am using discex to dump my gcm/iso's and yes ntcs-u

apploader is zero is often displayed when DM couldn't find the game.

Taken from DIOS MIOS wiki:

his means DM was unable to mount the selected ISO for whatever reason.

• Verify that your dump is ok, just google for the md5 hash.
• Try to install the game again (delete the old folder before)
• Your loader is using an incorrect config version
• You installed DIOS MIOS and are trying to load a game from SD card
• You installed DIOS MIOS Lite and are trying to load a game from an USB device

And I'm adding this one, which is the problem for 90% of the users with this error:

• You are using multiple partitions on your drive and you put the game on the wrong partition

You need to put games in the first partition on the drive (physically the first, not based on drive letters in Windows). So, the first partition NEED to be FAT32, 32k, primary.

I completely re-formatted my 2tb External HDD to Fat32, 32kb clusters and to a single primary active partition.

I used NTSC-U iso's to create game dumps by using .gcm/iso files and discex dumps

I have USB/games/dumps so i believe it is right in it's location.

I use DIO MIOS not some random other from mistakes, I do my research and read/re-read before i attempt anything WII wise.

I believe I have done everything completely right ... my only problem is that it does seem something is wrong.

So if I have installed DM 2.9 // and a loader compatible (also could you name a few that would work? and some links? just in case) everything should work
if I dump using discex ... correct?

Is there some way to just straight mount the ISO? instead of trying to compress and play.

Also I have tried 3-4 games all with the same error so it's a global problem and not just single game specific.

Let me know if you need anymore information.

For now I will do some testing on my 32gb USB drive to see if I can narrow the problem to loader/usb drive.

To clarify more clearly my Disc Ex dumps (may not be exactly correct in typing but you get the idea)

USB/games/Game folder name or ID tag discex dumped it to/game.iso + apps (apps is a folder i believe don't know it's prupose yet since i cant luanch DM correctly.)

It can be in any folder you want, but the common place are the one used above.

Ok, thank you for the examples I am sure I am correct on the path just didn't label it like it should have been labeled in example notes...


I will use this while I am testing my issues.
