Gaming SD Card for DSi XL

hello guys, I am planning to buy dsi xl and sd card for it, but I dunno how much storage I should buy,

is 8 GB sufficient for some DSiware, music, etc.. or I should buy 16 GB? Because currently I'm clueless about how much dsiware, flipnote, photo, etc using the bytes

No software can be run from the SD, only the NAND. SDs are only useful for pictures and music on the DSi.
