So I tried posting this in the Modmii thread, but everyone just answers stuff here so I'll just ask:

I tried following the SNEEK+DI guide with Modmii, but it fails at downloading/installing neek2o for some reason. What do I do? Is there any alternative way of doing a SNEEK install without a massive list of downloads from the NUS downloader?

Whether your 4.1 Wii is hacked or not, just do a full softmod and it will ensure that everything is current.
If you just update some IOSs or cIOSs, you may miss some that need/should be updated - it's better just to redo the whole thing if it was modded previously.
If it was modded before, you could always post a syscheck and people here can advise you whether or not any crucial updates are needed or not.

It is previously modded but as I said, its on 4.1E. Think I need to update everything anyway.

GC games boot fine of HDD, but my dios mios log is all messed up on startup (flashy and or on an angle).

edit: i found out the reason. When i use component cables it does this tha weird stuff (cheap china brand cables, but they work good aside from the dios mios logo). When I plugged in the composite cable for the first time in ages and for the first time I got clear proper dios mios logo on startup (although there is a long pause before the logo appears with composite) WEIRD

OK. Then if you want to do it simple and straightforward, just redo your softmod (don't uninstall/remove or revirginize), use ModMii or this tutorial - my preference being the guide. Either way you should be fine if you go slowly and take your time. ;)

Ive softmodded my wii again using the tutorial, I followed it to the letter. Everything went smoothly. However, Im having trouble using wiiflow, usbloader gx and Configurable USB Loader, both Configurable USB Loader and usbloader gx freeze as soon as I go into them but wiiflow crashes after I select any game off my hdd and click play. When it crashes, the above screen comes up. I have carried out a system check and here are the results

Hopefully this will be ab easy fix (fingers crossed). Thanks in advance guys. Strange because the 4.3 wii I modded works like a dream!!! Help

Presuming you've loaded off of this USB HDD before (and that it worked) and you're probably launching the apps from the system menu, have you tried via HBC?
If you're still getting the same errors, I'd try a fresh start on the SD. Copy the contents of your SD card to your PC as a backup, then format the SD card, and only have/make an apps folder on the SD card with one of the USB loaders (the most current version) (I use USB Loader GX). Try launching from the system menu forwarder first and if that fails too, try via HBC.
Someone may have a quicker fix but, I'd try troubleshooting from the minimum and start from there.

I just hackt my wii and it runs games just fine of my 8gb usb stick.

I wanted to buy a hdd of 1tb for my wii games and some other games, movies ect.
But can i use 1 hdd for playing wii games and saving other files?
Or do i have to buy 2 difrent ones? 1 for wii 1 for pc storage.

Sorry for my bad English

Nowadays the Wii drive doesn't need to be formatted in it's own way, other things can still use it.

Thank you.

Right now im using a program to put the games on my usb.
But if i just put the games on my usb with out any program it will still work on my wii?
So there is no need to format to 32?

Do all hdd work on my wii or do i have to look out for some things?

Still having trouble. I have redone everything, reinstalled everything using the tutorial. I put a couple of games onto a flash drive but when I go into usbloader gx it says device not found. If I use wiiflow, it just freezes and I have to hold down the power button on my wii to get out of it.

I'm presuming you mean Wii games on a USB flash drive... IIRC, USBLGX doesn't support Wii games loading off of a flash drive - and from that message it appears so. Don't know about Wiiflow.
Do you have a USB hard drive?

So, uh, yeah.... Still no word on why neek2o fails to install with Modmii with the SNEEK+DI tutorial? I hate to be asking repeatedly like this, but I'm only doing it because Google cannot provide an answer for me.

Hey, I am trying to watch netflix on my wii, I am currently on 4.1U. The netflix channel boots up but tells me it is outdated and currently my wiishop loads back to the channel screen. So I guess, how can I safely update my wii shop channel or where can I find an updated netflix wad to install?

i hope searched before asking but anyways

try this
Update the shop channel only, that's much easier! How to do it:
Get NUS Downloader here:
http://code.google.com/p/nusdownloader/dow...mp;can=2&q=
Start it, select extras... - Retrieve common key (key.bin) copy this to the title id field:
0000000100000038
Let the v box free, enable pack -> WAD, start nus download.
Clean the v box then copy this to the title id field:
0001000248414241
And start nus download. Then open the two new created folders, copy both wads to sd and install them with a wad manager and IOS36.

or get the wad through modmii and install it. make sure all your cios are up to date

Well bloew me down with a feather..............I did not know this. I previously stored my wii games on an external hard drive, a powered one, which I formatted with wii backup manager. I had a lot of games on it but Ive got a feeling my hard drive has had it. My pc isnt picking it up whatsoever. Ive ordered another usb hard drive off of ebay and I should have it by the end of the week. Will it work? Its a 2.5 sata 160GB. Ive tried a usb flash drive which didnt work. When I tried to load usbloader gx or wiiflow, it just took me back to the wii system menu. BTW I remodded my wii, it has been about 12 months or more since I switched it on lol. I will wait until my new hdd arrives then give it another crack. The new hdd is yusb powered, does that matter???

Yeah the flash drive issue is there but, I think there is a USB loader that supports flash loading but I don't know what it is. Wiiflow doesn't seem to work but maybe CFG does. I can't remember well but, I think the one USB loader that supported flash loading was a pretty minor/old/outdated one. Either way, a HDD is cheaper for more space so that's my choice.
Your PC not picking up the USB hdd could just be that it's WBFS formatted and can only be read by a program like, WBFS Manager. If that's the case, you could always convert it from WBFS to FAT32 (there's a guide on gbatemp somewhere).

USB powered HDDs can work but sometimes they need both USB ports IIRC (maybe that's only on Wii U). I do know some other users that do have USB-powered HDDs so it likely should be okay but I can't say for sure 100%.
