Hacking up-to-date netflix wad? can't use shop channel

having trouble getting netflix on an older OS with outdated shop channel. edited post to follow forum rules.

It is against the rules to request for downloads of Copyrighted content.


You don't need to update your "OS", just the shopping channel and the IOS it needs.

Update the shop channel only, that's much easier! How to do it:
Get NUS Downloader here:
http://code.google.com/p/nusdownloader/dow...mp;can=2&q=
Start it, select extras... - Retrieve common key (key.bin) copy this to the title id field:
0000000100000038
Let the v box free, enable pack -> WAD, start nus download.
Clean the v box then copy this to the title id field:
0001000248414241
And start nus download. Then open the two new created folders, copy both wads to sd and install them with a wad manager and IOS36.

even something offered completely free to download anyway? perfect. since a mod posted that, I'll edit my original post, but for the record I'm not asking for anything illegal here. my msn is venoman at hotmail if anyone has any other tips - I won't post here since it's apparently inappropriate.

Search Wii Shop Channel v20 upgrade, you can then access the Shop Channel and get the newest version. (that's what I did)

You're right, that got me into the shop channel and I was able to download netflix normally. Thanks for the help!

(incidentally I hate looking like a noob - I've been on gbatemp for years, just don't know what the hell email I used)
