Try using the latest version of Configurable USB Loader Mod and make sure you have a gameconfig.txt in the root of the SD card. Also make sure you downloaded the homebrew option on the project m website.

I can only use the Riivolution method because I have an SDHC Card. Since SSBB can't read those cards, you can't play Project M unless you launch it from Riivolution and download the Riivolution method. I think that might be your problem. When I try to use CFG it launches and says Ocarina codes found, but Project M doesn't launch. If your SD Card is more than 2 gb, then it won't work. Also, there is one more thing. Project M only works on NTSC-U wiis as far as I know.

You're confusing the No-Homebrew method (Stack Smash) with the homebrew method.

Put Project M's RSBE01.gct (no Stack Smash version) into USB Loader GX's cheats folder, enable cheats for Brawl, put the rest of the Project M files on your SD card in the normal spot, and launch Brawl.

EDIT: You're kinda not supposed to blatantly tell us you need help pirating.

All SSBB mods that use the Gecko OS method should work in any up to date USB loader (at least USB Loader GX and CFG loader do)
USB Loader GX loads codes from the same location as Gecko OS (which every loader does AFAIK) so you should be fine just unpacking the Project M archive onto the SD card. That worked for me with Brawl- and Brawl+ so it should work for Project M too, though I don't know about hacks using the old snapshot method. I tried to avoid that method because it didn't seem to work at all for me.

If you choose to use a sucky, outdated loader, it's your responsibility to know how it works.

Try downloading cheats within USB Loader GX, then try to find that file.
Sucky and outdated? How so? It has a lot more features than Configurable USB Loader and looks prettier. I honestly can't believe people prefer CFG loader.
WiiFlow is nice though, but USB Loader GX' banner view is nice too, and saves you having to download those damn covers.

so what loader do you reccomend
It's up to you, USB Loader GX is a good choice and so is WiiFlow, it depends on which interface you prefer, but I wouldn't recommend Configurable USB Loader, the theme is kind of ugly and there are no good replacement themes for it. On top of that, it's rather lacking in features, one notable being banner support.

users reported that USBLoaderGX doesn't work fine with gameconfig.txt file.
when I tried it myself, it didn't work either but maybe I did something wrong.

Is it working fine for some users with USBGX?
