I want to replace the title logos for Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut with The Original Logos for Sonic Adventure and run the game on a Wii through Dios Mios. I'm going for simple image and video replacement, So it shouldn't be too hard. I didn't make this thread to ask for help, but if anyone wants to, feel free to post links to tools or images I could use for this tiny little project. I'm just starting with the title logos because I really just like the original logo's more.

I need to replace the logos on the following
-opening video
-title screen
-menu backgrounds
-potentially the opening.bnr

This means i'll need tools to extract/compress GVM files, and convert the original SA1 video to the video format used in this GCN version.

I'm really just doing this out of boredom and I'll add a patch file here if I can after I get it all done- although the video file for the original opening MIGHT eat a bit of space--

If my efforts are fruitful, I might expand the project to change some of the textures to the original ones from Sonic Adventure (RedTrain over Blue train, Checkered Pool Tiles over Intertwining Pool Tiles, ect.)

If I need any help or advice, i'll post my troubles in this topic.

OK guys, I FINALLY figured out how to use VrConv to get myself a proper GVR file with transparency included. That was annoying as hell.
It took me awhile to figure out the pixel format I needed to use. Someone REALLY needs to update puyo tools with a GUI for encoding PVR and GVR images, too bad it seems to be deserted.

the arguments I used were these for future reference if anyone ever needs to do this for whatever reason...

"VrConvert -e blah.png gvr none 05 -gi 6"

Damn. Good news in I have the Original Logo in GVR format FINALLY. So we can move on to compressing it to the GVM format so DX will read it.

Well it turns out the video isn't even in the DX prototype :(
Guess i'll have to get it from the DC version?

It actually is, but it's not called what it is in the DX final. I think Im gonna need an SFD player. :/

Ugh, no luck with the logo's either, it seems all I did was destroy the title screen. :/
It's because puyo tools keeps ignoring the 3rd GVR in the GVM when I try to compress. It's just not working properly due to this.
