So I was just randomly browsing the web on the browser and I noticed that the browser was able to browse (and play) some flash adverts. I am now excessively confused. I also noticed it was able to play .gif files which is neat also.

But whats up with those advertisements?

The problem there is that the 3DS browser has a very low buffer, IIRC. Or else it wouldn't need to reload everything that's outside the current screen view (notice how when you scroll, offscreen items are absent/nonexistent?). Plus some pages actually return an error for being too big. Imagine what adverts are gonna do for those pages.

It's really annoying when I'm trying to look at pictures and the 3DS browser is crap so it loads the ads in the space where the picture should be and says image display failed even though it would work if it would ignore ads /rant

Who the fu** uses the 3DS internet browser anyway??? I used it just to download 3D pr0n pictures... the only useful thing you can do actually

Wow. Someones being blatantly honest ._.

I can't be bothered with the browser, they should either give us a better one, or don't bother bc it's useless to me. Also many devices have much stable browsers Nintendo is behind again on this one.

I do. Gamefaqs/twitter/facebook all have mobile versions of their website that run beautifully on the 3DS, Gamefaqs in paticular is perfect to quickly pause the game and check something. Its even better that when you close it to resume the game, it saves it at the exsact spot you left it on, it makes it perfect to use as an walkthrough guide checker.

Interesting, thanks.

This, Its pretty friggin useful, seeing as how I don't have any other handheld devices that have internet.
